Hamster, gerbil, something else small and furry ..... with less responsibility, and (sorry if I offend) but with a fairly limited shelf life maybe? Any pet is a responsibility, and whilst I’m all for children being part of a pet support bubble, I don’t believe that the average five or eight year old can comprehend fully the ins and outs of pet ownership.

And Ramsgate is within their geographical radius for rehoming. No further net casting needed .......
I suspect she doesn’t want the hassle of having an inspection/suitability assessment by the RSPCA. That would mean she would have to juggle her schedule of porno shoots down Ramsghetto beach and baking soggy bottomed ca-ca-cake.
