Sadza seems similar/same same to Ugali, that I ate often when living in Kenya. Very easy to make and now I wanna make some for my kids to try! It was a staple at rhe childrens home I worked in as it’s cheap and filling and went with the vegetable and rice dishes they served on the daily, with the very rare meat provided from the homes goats when slaughtered or when someone donated some meat. 3kg if ox tail would feed the whole school……

The plate of food she held up in her garden would’ve fed me and both my kids. That can’t have been just for her??? I genuinely cannot imagine what size she’d be if she wasn’t on weight loss meds and didn’t go through sporadic periods of intense exercise because she actually eats more food than I can comprehend. She’s just forever eating, shopping for food, fondling food, thinking about food. It’s one of the worst cases of addiction I’ve ever seen.
