I’d actually enjoy this trip on my own 
I’m so stressed at work I just need a time out from adulting. My sitch is different to EL though as my kids are 24/26, my husband and I have a healthy marriage, I have the financial means and it wouldn’t be one of multiple getaways already this year. BUT I accept that I can’t run away overseas at the moment so try my best to keep my tit together and not destroy relationships in the process!

Agree it might have sounded great in her mind that she’d go on another holiday but how depressing and lonely to be hanging out at an empty resort and nobody misses you at home.

If she's still struggling (healing) with Aaron leaving, despite the time line, I can't see her being cooperative with the division of property. She's still holding out hope he will come back. Aaron's probably keen to get it finalised, especially child support, but she's probably dragging her heels. And he has to watch her continue to frivolously spend THEIR money.

I’ve never been to a retreat before so perhaps I don’t quite get it but what is she doing in Bali right now that she doesn’t do back home. This trip has a ‘same tit, different location’ feel to it. Lying around, talking to her imaginary friends on her phone and taking selfies with sexy face pose. Where’s the meditation, yoga, nature walks etc? All we got was some vague reference of visiting a temple which we all know didn’t happen, cause if it did she would have had her driver videoing her spiritual awakening.
