I know this has been said before but why does literally every man claim to be 6"2?

I'm 5"11 and I don't encounter that many people taller than me on a normal day. I guarantee the majority of these guys are cruising around under 6ft.

I'm a tall girl as well and I agree. I also find celebrities (not that I meet many) also lie about their height. The only celebs who are genuinely tall are Vernon Kay and Greg Davies. Simon Cowell (claims to be 5ft 8) is actually shorter than Dec out of Ant and Dec

I saw a guy on tiktok and he would go to random guys on the street and ask how tall they were. the guys would tell him and he would get out measuring tape to see if they were lying, 90% of them would or refuse to be measured. It’s so laughable

I had a guy arguing with me at work, claiming he'd been measured at the doctor's and he was 5ft 10. This was as he looked up at me, angrily.

If that was true, then I'd be 6ft 4 and not 5ft 10. 6ft 4 is an unusual (but not unheard of) height for a woman.
