I’m desperate to try the Galaxy pie! Glad the mcflurry is nice as I’ll be getting a McDonalds as a treat tomorrow
The pie was nice however mostly got the caramel in the last few bites. At least half of it was just caramel around the edges
---
I really don’t want to buy a new outfit for my works Christmas party. I think I’m going to wear a black dress that’s about 3/4 length. Just not sure what shoes to wear

You could always wear sparkly heels.

Guess which tool got suckered into doing 'proper' handprint baubles today at baby group... My bank account is now £55 lighter, for 3 baubles  ducks sake.

*Chants it's only his first Christmas once* repeatedly

Honestly, when their 15 and you pull those baubles out every year it will have been 1000% worth it. I felt exactly the same but they are my most treasured possession ❤

I’m pretty much there. I’m now no longer going to Dublin after last night (I know things are pretty much back to normal but my anxiety is too high and I would end up having a meltdown) I’m still going to London for a couple of days though. I don’t have any presents to get so that’s going to take a massive weight off me. I ended up getting really stressed and anxious last time I was in London trying to shop.

I’ve managed to find pretty much everything I was going to buy in Dublin online. It’s cost considerably more but I’m alright with that. There was only one thing I didn’t manage to get and it’s not significant so that’s okay. I was going to get perfume for my friend- she told me there was a perfume she really wanted to try, but she’s never smelled it and if she doesn’t like it then that’s a lot of money wasted. I’ve got her a mini one (a proper mini bottle) from Vinted so she can try it. If she likes it I’ll buy her some but if not it only cost a tenner- no harm done and I’ll get her the other one.

Otherwise I’m basically done. I delivered my first lot of pressies- to my sis, BIL, nephews and niece on Wednesday so that’s one less to worry about. My view now is if I’ve not done enough- tough. I’m finding it harder and harder to cope with Christmas full stop and I’m not going to run myself into the ground with it.

8 Grottos? wow thats a lot they only need to visit one. Maybe you could research the best grotto to save you visiting so many. 👍 As for every decoration style just pick one you like and maybe let the kids decorate their own mini trees. Garden centres are quite good for different decoration styles so maybe you could take the kids there and then they could see different styles to save you trying to do them all.
Sadly not how my brain works, dopamine seeking is a total bugger and I’m unable to stick to one thing and be happy with it when other new shiny things are out there too. Hopefully it’ll wear off and become a chore soon so I can calm it down, it’s really made me aware of how much ADHD rules my life sometimes, financially very detrimental!

Honestly santa is so stressful for smaller kids that I doubt they’ll be paying attention to facial features under the beard, it’s all about the gifts when they’re younger

If we've ended up seeing more than one I've said to kids sometimes he sends a helper who passes back messages but isn't the real deal. When we see a really good one I'll whisper to them all dramatically "that was the real santa, can you believe it!" We've been to one where you provided information in advance and it was very convincing.
I've not booked a santa meeting this year, it's awkward because my 11 year old is too old for it but he doesn't like not being included!

I HATE ordering books online for this reason! I always spends ages in the shop hunting through for a perfect one and I think every time I’ve ordered one online they’ve come and been awful! Amazon are one of the worst for it

The parts for the Christmas play have been allocated and we've been told what they need to wear. School say don't go out and buy a special costume but mine is meant to wear a long sleeve shirt .We don't have any long sleeve shirts as their school uniform is short sleeve polo shirts. I'm sure most small children rarely wear shirts now , unless they are checked or denim . God knows what I'm going to dress them in

What part do they have? Maybe we can brain storm some alternatives :)

Do you have a school parents fb page or what’s app group. Ask if anybody can lend you one?
