Try a charity shop for a long sleeve shirt. The parts for the Christmas play have been allocated and we've been told what they need to wear. School say don't go out and buy a special costume but mine is meant to wear a long sleeve shirt .We don't have any long sleeve shirts as their school uniform is short sleeve polo shirts. I'm sure most small children rarely wear shirts now , unless they are checked or denim . God knows what I'm going to dress them in
I was going to say this or find the other mums with kids with the same costume and split a pack.Try a charity shop for a long sleeve shirt.
Good to hear. I didn’t think much to it the last few years.York market is full of lovely things this year, but it’s absolutely heaving![]()
is that the one with the Christmas gifts from I think from Nessa are wrapped in tinfoil or the one when she gives everyone a tapAnyone watched The Gavin & Stacey Xmas special (2008) yet this year?
No its Smithy who wraps it in tin foil and Nessa gives everyone a celebration sweet.is that the one with the Christmas gifts from I think from Nessa are wrapped in tinfoil or the one when she gives everyone a tap. ..... sometime during the festive period we watch them normally on a day when the weather is tit and we get to tuck into our chocs! we also watch re-runs of Two Doors Down! typical Scottish humour so funny
Thank you that’s a good idea!If we've ended up seeing more than one I've said to kids sometimes he sends a helper who passes back messages but isn't the real deal. When we see a really good one I'll whisper to them all dramatically "that was the real santa, can you believe it!" We've been to one where you provided information in advance and it was very convincing.
I've not booked a santa meeting this year, it's awkward because my 11 year old is too old for it but he doesn't like not being included!
Which style did you go for?I bit the bullet and ordered a tree from balsam hill yesterday. Nearly got kne from John Lewis but figured it was only £100 more for the one I really wanted to might as well get the one I have been listing over. Has already been dispatched so hopefully I can get my tree up early in the week
The Nordman Fir. I wanted a really realistic one and the top third of this one is what swayed me. It looks like the real tree I normally go forWhich style did you go for?
