All of this talk of people getting stockings past the age of 18 is making me sad




We do get a "table present" now, which we open before the starter is served. Idk if table presents are an actual thing or just another questionable Christmas rule made up by my mum

(they weren't always a thing for us, I think she started doing them in the early 2000's)
They're usually just something small (around £5), but one year, we all thought the other one was getting the table present for our mum (she gets everyone else's) and so no one actually ended up getting a table present for her - which she has never let us forget

so now we have a shared google doc with who is getting the present for what year & make sure to spend at least £10 so that she has The Best™️ table present of the table hahaha
