I'm ancient now but I still remember how scared I was at junior school, aged 11. Everything frightened me but I slowly settled in and grew a hard shell. Nobody knew what autistic was then and there were a few like me. As least now there is help available.

One thing confuses me, about the kids. I live in Scotland and private schools will not take SEN children. Is it different in England ? Or are the kids not the way she's portraying them to be

The school they go to has a high number of children with SEN and is set up accordingly to give them specialist support with lots of one-to-one help available.
