We are getting bids to replace our HVAC system in a small1908 bungalow. First bid was $12,000. That includes a new furnace, hot water heater and central air conditioning unit. When we had this work done 15 years ago it was $7,000. We're having our local utility company bid on it this week because they will divide the cost into our monthly gas bill. $12,000 seems excessive but everything is so much more expensive these days. I'm sure glad I don't have to heat or cool a tit-too!

I got the feeling that Amaury was a bit "énervé" (= irrirated)... even Natti tried to say "Maybe you would prefer if we go away" or something like that. He answered sort of "No no, I'm OK".
It was obvious that the Chatelaine couldn't read his body language... Especially when she laughed at him when he was running up and down to check the radiators leaking.
That was a pathetic scene. But she thought it would be worth keeping it in the vlog as she knew that her Superfans would love it !
Just jotting this down for future ref: To heat the chateau at all, according to Le Comte, the windows, shutters and interior and exterior doors need to be weatherproofed and in working condition, as do woodburners in each habitable room, with good chimneys. Open fireplaces need to be shut off or to be cleaned, with up to date flues and chimneys. All in addition to a geothermal system properly supported with enough tunnels and proper pressure and piping.
I'm guessing this would cost well over $100K.

I was in Soutern Spain in August this year. Normally, I can handle the heat well. Madre MIa, the heat was 40c + but the killer was 70-80% humidity most nights. Thankfully, we had a sea breeze from 9pm onwards if we were lucky, We were all complaining. It was weird. Now back in Dorset. It's cold and wet. I love it

. It would feel as if your in a gilded cage with the birds on the outside; sort of an Alice in Wonderland flip of reality, in a beautiful way! Can’t wait to see it.

For your next year's accounting would it be easier if you had dedicated accounts for each type of expense? One for your personal finances, one for the association and one for the business? You could then make only the appropriate purchases from the appropriate account? It would certainly save you so much of your time and your accountants time every year. Life is too short to highlight so much! Lol
