My first was an emergency & I had gel nails, they didn’t remove them or say anything. Second was a planned one and they did tell me beforehand not to have nails done or makeup etc!

Genuinely - most don’t get paid ANYTHING. It’s just free exposure. It’s only generally wedding shoots for big names (or big guest lists) they get the chunky fees. People like Ashley will get the few photos, maybe a loss of earnings package (their agent will say they cleared their day for a shoot for example so lost a few grand) but rarely anything else

To be fair to her I don’t think all hospitals are strict on this. I asked mine at the time and they said nails were fine, just leave my toes without anything. I didn’t have a c-section, but I checked before going in to be induced. just in case I ended up with one.
