Man I’m waiting for our new Aldi to open up so I can go and have a look. Currently we only have Lidl and whilst I love it, the aldi stuff you guys are posting looks better.

My personal Lidl favs atm are

GIN. The rhubarb and ginger one.
The knock off percy pigs
ALL OF THE BISCUITS
Ready made prawn cocktail. So much cheaper then Sainsbury’s.
Salmon. The one already seasoned 😍

I got the mighty peas too at the weekend. Bit more chilli than I was expecting, but a definite thumbs up!

It's Aldi version of Nandos macho peas. Ss of recipe attached.
And two pinches of chilli flakes. Can't get the ss to upload properly.

You know you're influenced when you don't even like peas but you search the freezers in Aldi for them 🙈🙈 Bought them and going to see if I like peas yet (I'm 37, tastebuds can change right?) Also got loads of other bits you all recommended including the tempura fish cakes, lime tortillas and £40 worth of other stuff - no middle aisle bargains for me today, I was being strict with the budget!

Today I got pretzel chocolate, mighty peas, and finally... after months of looking for some... got my hands on some mochi! Also got some passion fruit marshmallows? A little odd but they're delicious.

I used to make a Jamie Oliver ‘recipe’ which involved using fresh peas (could frozen ones) lightly blanched, chopped feta and raw spinach. Mix together and squeeze fresh lemon juice over. Could add a bit of olive oil too.
