Had the no meat hotdogs tonight with the brioche finger rolls. Really good. Had them with French’s classic yellow mustard that Aldi had for 99p.
On another note - has anyone tried this?
I bought that cream - I can report, I had a shining vision of beautiful moisture drenched skin, glowing in the morning like a supercharged Clarins Beauty Flash Balm. Sadly, that remained just a vision, I've been using it for a week and it does nothing. I'm interested to hear how you get on!

I don't think I fancy these mochi everyones raving about.
I don't actually like normal mochi, the texture is just  but the ice cream ones are actually really nice! But imo they're really rich and I only managed one, when usually I'm a big snack-hoovering b 😂

I used it last night - it’s very slippery isn’t it? It dried to a shine on my face. I confess I couldn’t see much difference this morning but there again I’ve tried every lotion and potion on the market - including crem de la mer - and haven’t found one yet that makes a discernible difference. I think it’s recommended to use 2-3 nights per week so I’ll use it again in a couple of nights.

It was my birthday today. I'm considered too old for presents for the most part so was a pleasant surprise to be notified about my free cookie from the Lidl Plus app 😂

I got a euro off my next shop on Sunday’s scratch to win and a free packet of toffee hits biscuits (toffee pops knock offs I assume!) and it’s not even my birthday 😆

I’m pathethic. 😂

I used to make a Jamie Oliver ‘recipe’ which involved using fresh peas (could frozen ones) lightly blanched, chopped feta and raw spinach. Mix together and squeeze fresh lemon juice over. Could add a bit of olive oil too.
Ha, this is one of my fave salads. I usually try to avoid his recipes on principle because I find him so annoying, but this one stuck. I always just cook the frozen peas and let them cool

Another Aldi dupe I'd recommend - the chilli snackrite tortilla chips. They used to taste like cardboard, but I bought them again recently and they're way better now, perhaps slightly better than Doritos? And a lot cheaper, of course

This stuff is gorgeous pick it up if you see it - I wish I bought a few of them as I got this three weeks ago and haven’t seen it since. I opened it so you can see the colour - it’s black rose extract with nyacinamide and shea butter. Sinks straight in to the skin - non greasy - slight rose fragrance. Divine.

They were at the top of one of the middle aisles with lots of other slighly posher products like biscuits, chocolate, jams, and alcohol. I guess a kinda gift section for lack of a better word?

Definitely worth a go if you can get your hands on them. I'm obsessed with anything passionfruit so I'm biased but I loved them.

Half successful shop, stocked up on some faves. But still no sign of the peas or mochi in my local Aldi (nore gaps where they had been) :(

Weird how the same sized shops in the same area vary what they stock
