Does she even have the phobia or is it just a convenient way for her to get out of something she’d rather not deal with? Who decided she has this condition, her?

Most people aren’t saying her phobia isn’t real or isn’t debilitating! They are saying you can get treatment!
Zoe has endless time and a lot of money at her disposal yet has never as far as we know sought specific treatment with a phobia specialist.
For example I have a friend currently being treated for a severe food phobia that is interlinked with a fear of being sick.
Before she started treatment 6 months ago she couldn’t eat any fruit, veg, anything in a sauce, pasta or rice, lentils, pulses and is also vegan so you can imagine how hard it was.
Her treatment started with having to sit with a plate of the new food/ meal she was introducing (for example a vegetable curry) for 30 mins as Fight or flight mode usually lasts for no more than 30 mins. She would then have to eat that meal 20-30 times over the course of many weeks before she was allowed to decide if she liked it or not.
She now eats so many things it’s amazing and has transformed her life!
Given her success I’d be confident that a treatment plan would be out there for Zoe. She just has to want to defeat the phobia.

This exactly!

There are proven treatments for phobias - in particular phobias of the nature Zoe is suffering. It’s not like it’s something that worked for a couple people ever, and is a huge maybe. The biggest thing here is she can 100% afford to seek out some of the best at providing these type of treatments so she can get through this and do better for her kids and hopefully avoid passing on any weirdness with food. She is just choosing not to and that can be so, so dangerous. It’ll also likely hurt her relationship with her kids with mom always skipping out at the sign of illness.

She says in the latest vlog her emetophobia causes her to overcook things out of fear they'll make her sick. That doesn't quite add up when she's quite happy to eat mostly ready meals or takeouts with no idea what preparation has been involved in the making of those... she even buys ready made mash 🤦🏻‍♀️
Yes!!! And eating absolute crap, unhealthy food, which won't help your body fight off any bugs!!!
---
But most people with this phobia cannot avoid sick when they have children. It’s very privileged to be able to avoid it. Most people have partners at work and are left to deal with sick children alone
Yes!! And Single parents!!!Just bloody have to do it!!!!

Yeah but saying it over and over isn’t going to change anything at the moment! 🙈
She seems to have an unethical therapist who is still seeing her despite the fact that she is basically a hermit! I don’t think this therapist really has what it takes and the fact that the therapy is remote doesn’t help. Zoe has found a therapist who listens to her and humours her, but doesn’t seem bothered about the fact that she is still seeing her for the same problem so many years later.
It’s definitely something that she should have thought about more seriously before having children besides deciding that Alfie will have to deal with it. If Alfie gets ill as well as the girls, she can’t expect him to clean up. I think she is in for a course of involuntary exposure therapy!

It seems like she has a lot of mental illness vs just a phobia. I wonder if her parents addressed this early enough, or if she started therapy in her 20s.

its a lot easier when you=
Have insane wealth (x2)
a huge house
everything gifted
family next door
Can pay for cleaners, gardeners
can afford to order takeaway as often as you like
can afford childcare 247
can get people to come to your house to do your hair, nails, give you a massage
friends come to you
have all the time in the world to take a bath in the middle of the day
have an easy income via property/YouTube/Instagram etc (would add coffee and hoodies, but how much can that all be raking in I wonder)

really.. what’s the big deal.. raising kids is easy right? We’re all in the same boat as Zalfie, surely?… no?

im just jealous. I have zero of the above and kids the same age. It’s bleeping tough
Yes but she still hasn't got time to do her makeup and hair! 🤪

Yeah she would really need to find a phobia specialist and pay privately.
I think she actually finds it convenient as a reason to tap out of things and that’s why she hasn’t sought the proper treatment. You have to want to get better.

I think it’s easy to blame her and say she should want to get better and to go see a specialist etc, or that she’s got loads of money and time to help her, but if you’re someone who’s spent at least a decade in therapy with multiple mental health problems and the therapist is validating all of your feelings, not suggesting long term treatments but just remedies when the triggers happen, not pushing you to try new things, even suggesting they’ve reached as far as their relationship can go, then the person seeing that therapist is going to trust what the professional is saying.

Maybe at some point a lightbulb moment would happen of seeking something different, but the therapist could be making it more debilitating, if you’ve gone from having a problem that you’ve sought help for and they’re convincing you they’re helping when they’re not then it could become a problem of “omg I have to live like this forever, there’s nothing that will make this problem go away”. It’s really medical malpractice because even if the therapist is suggesting long term solutions and Zoe’s been rejecting them for years, then she should be suggesting Zoe sees someone else that can help her instead of continually taking her money.

I'm the same, it's so hard not to compare and be envious of how easy they have it. But you're trying your best and are most likely smashing it. Your kid(s) will see a hard working dedicated person and will become better people for it, whereas O and N will see 2 lazy arseholes and probably become them themselves. And so the cycle continues

I just can't believe you can get to 34 years on the planet and have never been sick !

She must of been so controlled in her teens and twenties to monitor only drinking just enough to be able to call it so that you never cop for a banging sickly head the next day
I remember the first time ever I innocently had two glasses of wine at a family do in my early twenties and out of nowhere it knocked me so sick, so fast I just couldn't keep it down if I tried.

I honestly don't know how Zoe gets through life it's like she's from another world 😂

She doesn't drink and if she does it's a sip.

I wish she would sometimes talk about the hard parts of parenting, she has such a huge audience it's almost crazy she doesn't address harder issues and makes out it's all sunshine and roses .. I found it almost refreshing when she mentioned she called poppy in tears when Ottie was sick.. like oh she's not super human after all!

I don’t think they ever will because using them for financial gain and plastering them all over sm without their consent is fine but apparently talking on parenting struggles is a step too far!

My kids grandad has emetophobia, my entire household got sick last week including my infant, she was in a really bad way and needed urgent medical care but I needed someone to watch my eldest as husband couldn’t get home quick enough. Their grandad sucked it up, came over and spent the entire time it took husband to get home from the motorway with our eldest knowing he could’ve puked at any time. Zoe NEEDS to suck it up, for her own good mostly.

And she was only crying for herself , not becuse it was hard parenting or because ottie was poorly. All she thought about was herself in that moment and how she was affected.
another reason she needs to get a handle on her problems.

I'm sorry but Ottie is now beyond spoilt and completely over indulged at this point.
Not in anyway a critism of the child herself of course but seriously this is beyond extra, beyond normal and frankly beyond the f*cking ridiculous

Alfie can play doctor with a simple face mask and toy stethoscope and if that's not good enough for Ottie then tough tit.

Whats next Zoe going to the morgue to get a dead body so that they play surgeons .

'you want daddy to be a doctor do you Ottie ? Ok I'll just order a full surgical scrubs for him to wear' Christ.

lmao where is this from?

kinda feel if he wore that during covid it would have caused some sort of moral backlash 😅

honestly I cant even hatewatch them anymore. they talk and talk and talk. no substance. its always the same things on repeat with different outfits and another child. thats it.
zoes vlog and her update part being that long??? she really loves listening to herself talk. granted you have to be some sort of happy to hear your voice when you edit yourself but she really has no limits. i couldnt even watch her latest vlog, even when I was bored and had nothing to do.
at this point i would rather watch grass grown than her

lmao I am on Zoe's level with my emetophobia, before I had kids I seriously contemplated paying for therapy to help me get over it but too expensive lol so I suck it up

first time my oldest got sick, it was gastro and it spread in the house and I was also pregnant at the time 😅 zoe would have combusted in that situation, then in the last 2 weeks both my kids have had nights of vomiting, but I still cleaned it off their sheets, showered with them, held them whilst they were sick, let them sleep on me and grabbed them a bucket when they woke up to vomit again, nobody is going to have a great time doing that but I am their mum and what good am I if I can't be there when they need me most??? her girls aren't even in childcare, she will have a terrible time if she doesn't sort it out before they are or go to school...that tit spreads like wildfire 😂
