I sympathise with her a bit on the periods issue. I've been to the doctors a couple of times over heavy periods and you do get a sort of "Thats just how they are" type thing.
Yes but you have a right to ask to be referred to a specialist who will help, you don’t have to chuck money at literally everything like she does. You just have to be direct and say “I’ve tried everything else and now I would like you to refer me to a specialist”. I did this with HRT after being fobbed off for a long time.

absolutely! I had years of me conceding ‘ok I’ll try that’ and being incorrectly diagnosed with IBS and then anxiety and a non existent stomach ulcer and then the vague ‘stomach migraine’ and then given painkillers that didn’t work instead of just actually seeing a different GP and demanding a referral to a gynaecologist. Don’t be like me

It took a decade before I even had an ultrasound and now I’m finally referred because I brushed up on my research, called them out on incorrect info (GPs do not know everything and a good GP admits that) and if they try to fob me off I say ‘ok, please can you note the conversation we’ve had on my records?’ - and that usually gets me what I need!

I notice Zanna says she’s going to be sharing more of her journey but as has been already said by others, if her journey is just paying to see private specialists that are top of their field, that’s not particularly helpful to the vast majority of people. Like yeah, lots of us would access a lot of treatment within the next few months if we could just throw money at things, but we can’t so it’s about managing it in the meantime and advocating for yourself when you don’t have what seems like unlimited disposable income!

With periods, she’s got access to excellent private healthcare. I am very lucky to have similar private healthcare provision and it was a very quick process to get my gynae issues sorted - I had undiagnosed endometriosis which went masked by the pill for many years. The wheels fell off when I went off it to conceive.

The NHS has absolutely terrible provision for period health but she has resources available to her that few people could afford/access out of pocket, so I have absolutely no sympathy for her given she boasts about her annual health MOT.

I can vouch for the M&S ones! They're comfy

Her house makes me so sad. It’s this gorgeous house in a lovely location and the decor…it just lacks personality?? Where’s the photos and the souvenirs from trips and what’s the point of buying a book just to use it as a prop and ugh I get that it’s the aesthetic she wanted but it just feels so cold and sad???? It’s more like a showhome or something. Also, the more “spot Bella” posts she does where the cat is dead obvious the more I weep inside hahahaha

"press dinner"

I can see how she's kind of going for diversity here but at the same time, all the models are quite slim & have similar body types? She did post a picture later of the curvy black model in the underwear but it's been discussed here time & time again that her bikinis and undies do nothing for bodies larger than a UK size 10.

Guys, who dresses like this on a weekend? What are these shoes? She's young, pretty, with a model-esque figure, she could pull off all sorts of cool outfits.

Another "press dinner".

just came here to say she’s had two “press dinners” within 24hrs...

what the fuck is press dinner?! does she ever pay for anything herself? if an influencer came to my restaurant for free and posted just photos with no info, no impressions, i’d never host another influencer ever again.

but i guess there will be plenty of people who will want to copy every aspect of her fake life.. which is so so sad. ugh!

The hospitality industry is on its knees ATM, if you can afford to pay for a dinner, please don't accept a free dinner. It's as simple as that

I feel bad for the restaurants because how much of a fool would you need to be to go to a restaurant because Zanna went there and got food for free? They can't be getting many clients off her stories.

It's literally so cringe that she calls them "press dinners"- Zanna you definitely just went in and told them you have a lot of followers and got a free meal out of it

It’s gross. She isn’t press ffs and she’s loaded! It’s like when she got gifted a meal after the first lockdown. Maybe gift that to someone deserving and not to a twat that can afford to buy her own dinner.

Her back to back free dinners are the breaking point for me, I’m unfollowing.

Not to mention all the other shit she gets for free.

Her constant vagueness about having a tough day or not doing well, then thanking everyone for the “support”. I just can’t anymore. I’ll still lurk on here but I’m done. I don’t get how she has fans or whatever, she’s a complete privileged asshole IMHO

I don't know what a press dinner is but it gives me the impression of an event that is for press only to promote something that they will then write about.

I’m a financial journalist. I would class a press dinner as one hosted by someone else, usually in my field an asset manager, or a service provider, to which a lot of journalists are invited, along with PR people. There is typically a talk, a panel discussion, something along those lines. There is never a plus one.

Going to Duck and Waffle with your boyfriend isn’t a press dinner.

Her house is so hideous!!! It’s like an ugly beige/khaki/grey hotel that’s devoid of any personality whatsoever. Even the stuff on the shelves have been ‘curated’ to fit in. It’s all such bullshit! Who lives like that?! Where’s her own stuff she’s bought over the years? Photos, books, stuff in COLOUR? It’s so horrible!

I have no idea why someone her age has moved to some massive ugly house in Surrey& is living like a 50 year old. She should be in a cool flat in London, having fun, not some horrible McMansion & dressing like a secondary school teacher.

I follow the Doctor‘s kitchen on Instagram and Dr Rupy Aujla posted on his stories ‘celebrating the launch of my new app with friends‘ and he tagged Zanna and the Duck and Waffle in it. So for him it was a dinner with friends and for her it was a press dinner?
