What have you done today?

Woke at 6am, didn't bother with a run because I'm still hobbling around after my accident yesterday
Had breakfast, checked emails, Tattled, dressed and finished off packing
Had a ham and cheese petit pain for lunch ,spent a little time sunbathing on the patio
Returned car to car-hire company in Pretoria, took a taxi back home
Currently 4pm and will probably head off to J'Burg airport in about an hour and check-in, and hope my 7:50pm flight doesn't get cancelled like last week!

Am on the plane due to take off in 10 mins, yay!!!!
Arrive in Paris at 6am CET
hang about until 10am and then fly out to London and arrive 10:30 GMT, catch another flight to Manchester, and then a train and then hopefully home by 12 noon Sunday

Just a quick update on my son! He was seen by a wound care nurse who has applied a special seaweed (?) plaster to hopefully draw out any nasties. He will have to return Tuesday for a dressing change but thankfully, no antibiotics required just yet.

the rest of today is just deep cleaning particularly as my son has been to what I consider a ‘danger zone’ but also I’ve heard the south east is probably going into a tier 4 lockdown. WTF?!

Last shift of 2020. Had my last birth of 2020. Not a bad way to see the year out and a reminder that life continues no matter what the world throws at us. Happy New year x

Showered and had breakfast
Said goodbye to g/f for the last time- gave her her Christmas presents and a special card. Hope to see her again in May
Walked to the local store bought a few basics
Set light timers and tested remote security cameras
Tattled
Still waiting on PCR results
Checked my train, plane tickets for about the 500th time
Had lunch - just a bacon and egg sarnie
Finished last bottle of wine
Currently in limbo

Got my PCR results a few mins ago, and they're negative!
Have printed off about 6 copies of results and certificate. Can relax now.
Will order Chinese shortly
Have a shower in the interim, put on dressing gown and veg for the rest of the evening in front of the box
Done and dusted

We're binge watching old 'Criminal Minds' episodes. I made some lunch and we were happily munching away when we discovered that the reason the murderer was cutting his victim's eyes out was so he could eat them. Then, just in case we couldn't imagine this, they showed the killer eating eyes. They looked like hard boiled eggs and he'd cut one up and eaten half of it until we finally found the remote under one of our cats. I only just made it to the bin to spit my hard boiled egg and salad sandwich out. I haven't eaten anything else all day and will never, ever eat hard boiled eggs again.

Was worried my 4 year old would wake me up early but it was my teens waking me at 630. So I sent them back to bed for a bit. Opened presents, had a Christmas breakfast. Then door stop present drop round family. I then had work in the afternoon, had the absolute pleasure of catching a Christmas baby, then home, had my dinner and currently catching up on the soaps before bed.

Felt proper ropey today! All I had last night was a glass of blue wkd
Fell asleep on the couch at 11.15 last night, got woken up at 12 cos of the fireworks, went off to bed.
Baby must have woke up every hour. So was up with him most the night. Then he was up at 5.30 for the day
Cos I had such little sleep my head was banging! I was lying in bed trying to get the little one to sleep then heard my fella go the bathroom - he had fell asleep on the couch. He started violently throwing up, he had only had a can of dark fruits he appeared saying he werent well and that he had a migraine
I thought 'ugh I can't moan about my headache then '
Got up and had a brew and breakie, took it easy for the day. Went for a nap when my son went for a nap both times I felt that shit
Hes been grumpy today as well cos of his teeth.
Hes in bed now, watched emmerdale with me fella while we had tea
I'm now tattling while he watches the man United game. He's not talking to me cos I said him and his Mum are inbreds gonna go to bed when I finish my brew!!

Up and did the before school routine. Called at the shop on the way back from school run to get sausage and buns for mine and other half’s breakfast. He was a right mardy so and so yesterday, so I thought this may put him in a better mood.

Made us brekky, he left half his as the sausages were “spicy”. They weren’t.

I decided to get on with some cleaning. Dusted and hoovered the 3 bedrooms. Cleaned the bathroom. Hoovered the stairs. Listened to the new My Dad wrote a Porno Christmas episode at the same time.

Came downstairs and wrapped the rest of the kids presents.

Received no help during all of that. He was doing some work, even though it’s supposed to be his day off. Fed up of his miserable attitude so went upstairs to chill for 20 mins before the school run. He came up and made a sarcastic comment about having a great day off. Clearly it’s my job to suggest something to do, as he can’t possibly! I called him up on his twatty attitude, he told me to forget it

Thankfully it’s now school run time so I’ll go do that before I knock his block off. Bloody men. Sorry for ranting, I feel better now though!

Went for a picnic, long muddy walk then got caught having sex on a pontoon by a river on the middle of nowhere

Baby woke me up at 5.50 all 3 of us laid in bed til 6.30
Fella got up for work then the work got cancelled, gutted. We had a nice day though
When baby napped I did a BIG tidy up cos the health visitor was coming
She Was meant to be coming between 10.30-12.30 but she didn't come til 1.30!!
All was good, she said baby was advanced in his motor skills and not worried about his speech! I cried for some reason haha
She left, baby napped I cant even remember what I did
When he woke up went to asda to get some bits. I got these lovely glasses that had koala bears on
We bought loads of party food for the 2 of us tonight
Got back, gave baby his tea, we bought him a little truck from Asda and we built it for him. He's so cute he buzzed off it
My fella was proper going on saying he wanted some fudge so I started making him a crispy m&m fudge in the slow cooker
Baby bathed and bed
We had our picky tea, watching soaps and shit telly with a wkd because im wiiiiiild happy new year guys x

Got him asleep
Our friends dropped us off a mcdonalds breakie
I felt ropey so I went for a nap
Woke up from nap and started tea, put it in the slow cooker
When baby went for 2nd nap I still felt ill so laid next to his cot and played on tattle. I ended up falling asleep
I woke up and ate a load of quality street
Gave baby his tea
Got him bathed and bed
Me and fella have just had an argument.. so I've gone to bed in a mood. Im starving

Update:
As I lay in bed, starving and fuming, my fella text me saying 'come and have tea' me being a narky arse refused at first. But eventually I gave in
I got up and sat on the couch in a huff
He went and got the spicy sausage casserole I made for tea out of the slow cooker
Then BANG he dropped a bowl of it
He came and gave me mine, he had non, I gave him half of mine
It was delicious.
We made up and had a hug
I ate more quality street then ive come back to bed

Well I'm sorted than I every will be. Plans for today haven't really gone to plan. Had a massive argue with partner this morning about our relationship being a joke. He has finally realised the only time we get on is when we have his daughter. The rest of the time we hardly talk. Honestly stopped trying to talk about anything other than his daughter he stops listening if conversation turns.
He storms off to work at 7. I've been to co op first thing get bread and a few random bits. Changed all the beds moved the presents for it to be easier for him to put under tree when stepdaughters in bed. Hoovered clean oven clean sofas and kitchen etc. Amazing how much I can get done in a mood.
Cleaning bathroom now then going for a soak. Partners massage don't ruining christmas for his daughter if your going to be a mardy bitch after working till midnight. Boss rang to see if I can come in early 1 team members not turned in on day shift and 2 of the 7 members of staff have phoned in sick for tonight. So the extra 2 put on to make close down easier we haven't got on one of the busiest nights of year. Going in at 3 instead of 5 and dreading it

Got up at 4am because my 4 year old has a great sense of humour apparently.
Ended up sleeping on the sofa until 930
Sorted out the rest of the toys and the cupboard
Assisted husband changing door handles, putting up hooks and sealing round the front door (I helped by pointing out where he had missed which he really appreciated )
4 mile walk with the mother in law and dog
Now off to the tip.
Later on husband cooking roast dinner, then I'm ironing to I'm a celeb. The fun never ends.

Nothing, house was cleaned yesterday, I've just lazing around on the sofa, snuggled with my wife and daughter, watching Harry Potter. She keeps asking me when she turns 11, can she go and live at Hogwarts, she's not even bothered about the magic, it's to get away from her one year old brother.

Was having a good day until I came back from a walk this evening and middle daughter asked me to cut two inches off her really long hair. She's is now in her bedroom raging because I cut too much off. I cut exactly two inches off as requested but she's saying I don't know what an inch is. I had to remind her I got an A'level in maths and that I don't need someone who has never gone above a C in her school maths tests telling me that I don't know what an inch is.
Its so long I doubt anyone would notice its been cut plus its lockdown so no bugger is going to see it for the next three months

- Made scones this morning. They were alright, but my husband makes much better ones.
- Did a bit of cleaning in the house while he did a bit of outside stuff.
-I went for a walk for about an hour (just back before the rain started!) and when I got back, MIL was on her landline moaning to my husband that
she's dropped her mobile down the toilet and guess who she expects to buy her a new one He's bloody worse for doing it!
-Bumped into my neighbour just as I got back. He's all excited because he's going to be a Grandad any day now. He's a lovely man, he'll be great with his little grandchild
-I've made meatballs. They're in the oven now. Should be done around 6ish.
-I'm currently writing a shopping list while watching 'Midsomer Murders' because one of us will need to do an Aldi/Tesco shop tomorrow, and if MIL expects me to do a grocery shop for her, she can think again.
-Have 9356 steps clocked up. Will have to out and circle around for a bit to hit 10,000

Woke up at 3am freezing cold fell asleep on the sofa watching telly i didnt want to go bed at 10 because I knew I would be wide awake when I got in. Stayed on sofa till 6 I knew my partners or whatever I call hims alarm went off at 6ish so went up and got in front bedroom got shouteded at for being a selfish cow not going to bed when he told me I was tired apparently me falling asleep down stairs kept him awake. Argued he slammed door and went to work ive done housework and phone a few estate agents to sell this hell.

got up around 8:30-9 ish, got ready for the day, did a face mask, had coffee and freshly squeezed orange+lemon juice
tidied up a little bit and played 1 round of league of legends, then started working on emails and worked until lunch

for lunch we had leftover gnocchi and then i played another round of league of legends
bf washed and cleaned the bathroom and he did a great job (he made me angry before that so that was his apology, it worked)

i got a burst of productivity and did an insane amount of work
sent it to my boss and she was quite pleased (i thought since i have to work on sunday, why wouldn't she )
anyway i felt very pleased with myself afterwards because i'd been postponing these tasks for a long time and now i have a clean slate for tomorrow

as a reward, i made myself a toastie and a cup of tea, and the same for bf
now waiting for him to finish something on his laptop so that we can play a round of league of legends together

then i will continue with some more work as i'm feeling very productive
so i feel like i should use this productivity because i'm scared that tomorrow i will return to being an anxious mess

after i finish work we will start season 2 of this new tv show we're watching
after that i'm hoping for an early bedtime as i need to get up around 6:30 tomorrow
