I don't think there'll ever be a shocking plot twist in Virgin River. You can kind of see it all coming one series ahead. 
I saw a preview when I was flicking, Mel complaining and I thought I’ll save it for a day in the winter when I’m feeling sluggish and unable to get out of bed.
The only shocking thing about this series is just how many disastrous and dramatic situations the same two people can find themselves in….and of course be the only ones who can help/save the dayI don't think there'll ever be a shocking plot twist in Virgin River. I just read that apparently one series is one month but even that seems far fetched …
Surely having a miscarriage, a removal then a miraculous recovery and going to meet the dr to try again in the space of one episode is heartless and cruel … it made me feel a bit icky
I keep watching clips on YouTube so I was surprised at what happened in your spoiler as it’s not what happened in the books that the series is based on.
I mean aside from the above weird timeline … how can you have wild fires one day and a monsoon the next 
I think Kaia the firefighter has taken the title from hope of the worst over-acting in history. Diabolical
she's the most dare devil that has ever dare deviled. All her and Preacher seem to do is drink tequila and go to bed, and go hurtling down the mountain on motorbikes.
Jack and Mel talk with each other too much - preacher and Kaia not enough.
the new episodes are weirdly comforting back ground tv, awfully stupid story lines but I'm still watching (except the Brady story - yawn)
Right… is the new season worth watching?
No, I've watched episode 2 and it's so boring, same predictable bad acting.....however I'm too invested in Mel and Jack....
I actually preferred this series to the last,are we meant to take muriel and her love interest seriously?? I won't say who it is as I don't know how to do spoilers.
Muriel seems to have had a bit of a personality transplant this series?? I'm sure she used to be a bit of a naughty strumpet who was trying to get in Doc's undercrackers and making digs at Hope
I did love her line about playing the part of a nurse when she was an actress so she knew what she was doing though
I’m now on episode 6 of the new season and finally somethings happening… it’s so boring! I am working from home today so I have it on in the background, really don’t think I would be able to fully concentrate and watch it.
I've got one more episode of the new series left.
Muriel is the most annoying character to me but I like her new storyline just because I'm a sucker for an older woman/younger man pairing. It felt like it came from absolutely nowhere and was just because the characters had nothing better to do this season.
I hate that Mel miscarried though. Even though it's realistic and you could see it coming a mile away it just feels like grief porn for lack of a better term.

There's some good music in this season, which defo helps makes it good background tv
Drives me mad how off Mel acts around Cameron in the first few episodes of the new season. Like the fella said he liked u and you don’t feel the same. Be flattered and get over it ffs. She’s such a pain in the arse sometimes
