I have absolutely no interest in visiting Dubai. Seems boring and commercialised to me. I’d rather go to somewhere like Florida which yes is also commercialised but at least there are things to see and do there.

I like sourdough, there’s a place near me that does sourdough pizza and it’s amazing. Shits all over the likes of dominoes and Pizza Hut. But it does seem very trendy at the moment.
Florida is well worth a visit. Miami is my favourite. California too.

Sourdough is not all its cracked up to be. I feel like its having "a moment" and is overused in brunches and whatnot and people are obsessed with it and I don't understand why.
Sourdough tastes like days old stale bread to me.

Am I evil that I actually laughed when I read this? 🤭

Going all out tonight:

-Skimmed milk just tastes like water and I don't see it's appeal .
-I don't like high heels. Why have shoes you can barely even walk in?
I agree- skimmed milk is awful. What's the point? The calories difference is only slight as well

It's not slight, it's almost half of whole milk, and about 50-60kcal per 100ml comparing to semi skimmed. When I drink coffee with milk I have about 100-300ml a day, it can be a difference between putting on weight and maintaining. For me I don't notice a difference in taste, especially if it's all frothed up. Can see the point if it's for cereal though or just drinking straight

My clearly UO as per this thread is that opinions about which food is better is not really an opinion, just personal preference 😝

Skimmed milk per 100mls is only about 20 cals less than semi - in Tescos anyway, which is why I stopped buying. Almond milk is incredibly low calorie if you are looking for weight loss!

And soya, but always go for unsweetened!

All lies. Can't trust these labels in general I guess 🤣 I drink either coconut or oat, relatively low calories, can't deal with the taste of Almond or soy unfortunately 😕

I like coconut too but can only drink small amounts. Too sweet for me.

Drinks in the UK are so weird to me. I'm paying 4 pounds for a coke, non for 1/4 of coke and 3/4 of water.

Any other milk but cows milk is disgusting and the soya, almond, etc have the consistency of human breast milk.

Can't say I remember the last time I had breast milk so that wouldn't bother me.
I find oat is the most similar to cow milk

Sourdough can get in the same bin I put brioche in a couple of days ago. It's just pretentious crap ... especially if it's bought from an artisan bakery :ROFLMAO:

Sugar tax...
The sugar tax has destroyed so many things.

Give me proper sugar any day rather than the huge amounts of artificial sweetener used these days. So may thing, biscuits, cereal, fizzy drinks have become inedible IMO because they just taste so synthetic.
