The moment I saw her story about her uni reaching out to her about the deadline to apply I just knew
I'm only surprised she wasn't sponsored before (albeit all she does is complain so not sure how good an ad she is... not to mention she doesn't have a job either)
She's spun almost all her complaints as "wow look how hard and rigourous my uni is guys! It's real I swear!!!" It's a shame she isn't honest about how needlessly busy and stressed her uni made her.
i don't think minerva was even academically challenging when we've seen the level of her essays she's just exaggerating to make herself seem more intelligent
Exactly, rheres a reason they need to hire influencer to publicise the uni, can't Exactly imagine the uni of Bristol or wherever needing to do the same
The unnecessary stress of no campus, living in close quarters to people, classes at wacky time (zones), student Visa processes- that all probably just added to the illusion of "academic" stress when in reality...no more vigorous (if not less vigorous) than "traditional" university

Firstly, that call with her friend. Sounded like every phone call with Jade is like a therapy session and must exhausting for her, asking how many breakdowns she had. Also the friend kind of ego boosted Jade by saying shed 'never wish her situation on anyone'... when moving and breakups are like the most common experiences everyone has been through.
She cries an inordinate amount. I know she's all about honesty but its uncomfortable just watching her sob and look silly every 5 seconds. Her betterhelp therapist sounds useless, bc she's clearly getting worse in terms of mental health.
And lastly her sitting and 'feeling' every single change in emotion is damaging her. It's like one tiny thing will trigger a whole breakdown for her and its silly for how emotionally intelligent she claims she is. Sometimes you need to suck it up, and keep it moving. She might realise people in her life leaving or becoming distant bc its not their responsibility to deal with her erratic mood changes and sensitivity.
I know this sounds harsh but she's quote 'growing up' and becoming a professional in London, but acting so childish.

The comments are reallyyyyy making me think she’s mostly doing this for engagement but then she also really doesn’t sound mentally healthy at all. If I was her friend I’d honestly be worried by the sound of things

But the way Jade sounds to be doing it is… not it. Average people may struggle but that’s where work more or less comes in to fill the gap - unless you’re working from home constantly as Hade is (if you actually consider her to be working at all)

She’s more dramatic about that move than me at 18 moving away to uni at the other side of the country and being away from my parents for more than a month first time in my life. And like I get it’s also the breakup but it seems she’s trying to blame her emotions on the move and being lonely in london rather than the breakup when it’s very obvious it’s that. And even if so, showing this much of crying and breakdowns on yt to thousands of people is not relatable but stupid - she should actually be alone for a little bit, go to therapy and sort herself out. Ffs be an adult at least for once Jade.

She doesn’t have a job based in London, from what I gather her old place was close enough to commute to London for influencer events or whatever, if she’s so lonely why didn’t she stay at home or move in with friends when she can do her YouTube stuff from anywhere? Genuinely think she did it for content
i think she feels behind her peers in terms of progressing through adulthood everyone else has moved out and gotten traditional jobs after their degrees she feels left out
I don't know about her flatmate, but the way she's filming herself crying and moaning in different locations of the flat would make me feel so uncomfortable. It seems like any second she's alone with her thoughts she breaks down. Filming that conversation with her friend was so cringy as well- everything was me-me-me. I get leaning into your friends at times of difficulty, but I would never make them feel uncomfortable or like I was using them for a means as an end. Maybe I'm just more empathetic than Jade because I'm hyper aware of what I say and how it could rub off on people.
