I don't think the guards will do anything. I've seen it for years working in retail. Even with concrete evidence, its alot of requesting cctv, data protection etc. Also have to take everything Julie says with a pinch of salt, more then likely she does do this but there's a chance she is only saying this knowing people will report her complain etc. She'll then be like my trolls my trolls. And Dunnes are the worst for this. I used to work there in college and they used to put a list of everyone's name on the staff noticeboards with how much you were over or under by. Even if it was 1 cent it was listed.

There was a warning system in place too but I cant remember as I used to be paranoid about my till. Once a lady told me I forgot to give her her 50e cashback but I was 99% certain I did. She was so nice and i had to explain I would be fired if was short an even 50 euro so she gave me her mobile number and I said i'd ring her if I was out at the end of the night. In the end I wasnt out. She was so nice and understanding...i can only imagine what Julie would be like. This was before they made you sign/initial for cashback
