We certainly will! xxWe will get there![]()
I am so sorry for your losswe conceived in 12 cycles. We were doing similar to sperm meets egg. I ovulated a few days different every cycle. But we would do every other day from cd 12. Then when I got a peak opk we would do that day and 2 days after. The month we conceived we did that peak day and 3 days after.
I was using ovusense, and looking at my temp rises... I think after I got a peak opk I didn’t actually ovulate to 48 hours after. So I think that extra day helped out!
we were told to go straight to ivf with icsi because of husbands numbers... but I found a few women who managed to conceive on similar numbers so we wanted to give ourself some time to try naturally. We lost the baby at 16 weeks. So I’m waiting to start cycles again... but we Will again try naturally.
I’m going to try to wait until Wednesday just incase my period comes early tomorrow, but I’ll probably test tomorrow I have no patienceYeah I’ve always been told pink ones are better and we’ve been trying for a year now and I’ve always used them but I’m stumped at the moment. I wasn’t aware indents were even a thingI’ve actually had better lines on eBay cheapies but I haven’t given clear blue a try really apart from a digital to confirm. I’ve heard the blue ones are more prone to Evaps but they have good reviews so I’m gonna give them a try
when are you testing again? Fingers crossed it’s positive for you
Thank you, typically my other half has felt poorly yesterday and today so is in bed trying to sleep. Im supposedly ovulating today so not expecting it to happenAww I’m so sorry![]()
keeping my fingers crossed for you too!![]()
Congratulations! Lovely newsOkay so I took a test this afternoon .. we’re pregnant! We’ll be looking at booking an early scan after previous early losses, the last one being a missed miscarriage at 9 weeks. When is the best time to book one for? Obviously not going to book one yet just incase but if we get to 7 weeks is that a good time?
That looks clear to me... my first one was quite light too so would defo recommend getting a digital clear blue one. So exciting I’ll keep my fingers crossed for youI’ve done another test but it’s looks so similar! Think I’ll just get a digital one in a few days if AF hasn’t arrived.
It is our first month of trying xxView attachment 413445
Thank you for the reply! Can I ask, did you go after a year of trying or before? I’ve only been trying 6 months so worried they won’t refer me but then if I suspect PCOS I feel like I’d rather know sooner rather than later! XMoving house soon, hoping that the saying ‘new house new baby’ will be correct. By some bloody miracle
I went to the doctors about my periods/infertility (didn’t suspect PCOS but it looks like I do actually have it). Ask for a day 21 blood test to see if you’re ovulating, this should be repeated another month too as we sometimes don’t ovulate every cycle! My doc also sent me for a pelvic ultrasound. If your doc doesn’t offer you this, push for it!! They can’t refuse to refer you![]()
sorry about it the typos! Don’t know what happened there x xmap sorry to hear this. Sending yoI lots of love x x
I've been using Premom. I paid £25 and it has 100 ovulation tests and 20 pregnancy tests. I was convinced I wasn't going to see a surge in them as my levels were showing low leading up to my predicted ovulation date, but then I had 2 days of much darker lines on the predicted ovulation date. I'm convinced I ovulated too because I woke up in the middle of the night with really sharp pains just on my right hand side - a sensation I've never had before. I'd been on the pill for 15 years xHas anyone used one step ovulation tests from Amazon (£4.99 ones)?. I switched to them this month as I was using the clearbblue digital and it was getting too expensive.
I’m in the expected fertile window but have had a negative test everyday. I expected to see a faint line but there’s nothing? I’m testing twice a day. Normally I would have a smiley face on the clear blue now. I get ovulation pain in my side which I’m experiencing today so I know I am about to hit peak ovulation.
Im guessing the cheaper ones aren’t as sensitive?
I had one last year, its not painful like getting a smear only a small bit more uncomfortable and goes on for longer, be prepared for some cramping after. I had a bit of pain for a few hours after but nothing paracetamol can't cure! Doctor was saying lots of people get pregnant after cos it clears out your tubes....I did not. Lol but not lol if ya get me!I’m out again this month. BFN yesterday and my temp dropped today. Expecting AF tomorrow.
Been at this nearly 2 years now. Spent most of my life trying not to get pregnant now here we arethe irony.
Have been referred for a hycosy. Anyone any experience?
Sorry you're back to ttc, hope you're okaySo I was in pregnancy thread but sadly back in TTC now! Been 4 and a half years trying so really keeping everything crossed this year I get a BFP and then a healthy baby!
Hey, unfortunately I can’t offer any advice but wanted to let you know I’m in a similar position. My Luteal Phase is at best 9 days (and that’s if I ovulate pretty much straight after a positive OPK so it’s probably more like 7-8 days), and I’ve read the same online about the NHS not recognising it as an issue and being reluctant to prescribe progesterone. Let us know what the Dr says. I hope this gets sorted for youFeeling very disheartened. Started on clomid by my GP this month, ovulated cd18. Had bloods taken cd21 and looked I ovulated well. Today cd25 - 7dpo- started bleedinglooks like a period rather than implantation. So my luteal phase is non existent. I have read GPs in the UK don't really believe in this/are very reluctant to prescribe progesterone. I have contacted them and will see what they say. Has anyone ever been in this situation or has advice? I have had lots of tests done to look into pcos/ovulation before - is it worth booking a private fertility specialist and bring these to them to see what they say? Feeling SO deflated!
Sorry I wasn’t much help! I feel for you the not knowing must be driving you mad! Hopefully you will get a clear positive in the next couple days!Thank you. I’m going to leave testing until next week. It’s taking over my lifeI’m so bloated tonight like I feel I can’t even breathe in
