I think the last two comments have been a bit unfair.

Firstly just because she has worked in Jacobs a long time doesnt mean she doesnt know herself. She seems to have a very loving family and she mentions meeting up with friends so seems to have a good support network.

I always thinks she puts a lot of effort into the videos where she is preparing a meal.

Some people will pick at anything!
She is Executive Head Chef so she should put in a lot of effort when preparing a meal! In my opinion, the presentation of the dishes is not very good and they do not look like what you would be served in Jacobs.

She's not executive head chef on her blog though, she's cooking for herself at home. Wouldn't expect the presentation to be the same

I don’t see how my comment was unfair. I did a lot of growing up, travelled, went to college and experienced a lot during those formative years. Yes she has a great network in terms of friends and family but how can working in the same place from such a young age be a good thing? During most people’s 20’s they have a number of jobs, meet a lot of different people from different walks of life and learn to tackle challenges that arise in life.

It’s not a criticism, some people get their job for life very young and are content with that but because they are comfortable they never push the boundaries and are never challenged and get stuck.

Trisha was a big part of my life for the bones of a year preparing for my wedding and I really do hope she succeeds with her weight loss.

She may not be the chef in Jacobs anymore... but surely since it is her trade, shouldn't she maintain high standards if she is choosing to publicly put it out there on instagram for everyone to see? And just because she is at home shouldn't make any difference either. If she is brilliant chef, then show it! :) .... although the dinners she cooked for Dan on their road trip looked amazing ;);)

A job is a job. It does not define us. I finished college at 22 and have had 2 jobs in almost 10 years. I loved them both and the people I worked with. A lot have left and been replaced by newer people who are just as nice and i have made friends for life in a lot of them. My best friend on the same course as me has had 7 jobs in the same time. She doesnt meet up with any of her former colleagues as she doesnt stay long enough to get to know them! Moving around a lot is not always a good thing.

Exactly. Well said. I dont think there is anything wrong with her presentation. In Jacob's people are paying for a service. In her videos i think it does show she is a chef as I feel she does put a lot of effort in but more so in explaining technique etc.

The food she makes is gross and I wouldn’t feed it to my dog tbh. I think she’s a terrible advertisement for Jacob’s!!

How does she expect to beat the bulge when she’s eating a bowl of granola with Nutella which are full of sugar ?

I know it's been said before but I really think she needs to go to a nutritionist. She really doesn't have a balanced, healthy diet.

she has a plan from a nutritionist, these are her meals they’re all weighed and portioned out

It is a pt she has a plan from not a qualified dietitian which is what she needs I think. They specialise in different areas such as eating disorders like binge eating which it seems she has

I have also unfollowed her. Sick of this merry go round nonsense. Acting like she is a warrior when in reality she is probably just a binge eater! Needs to do the graft offline and actually lose some weight so she can become credible as a 'transformer ' for once. Also harping on and on about her going to therapy- great that she has started this but what is she trying to prove by telling the whole world about it? Sick of her. Next
I came on here to say the same and delighted to see so many people with the same opinion. I think the nationwide programme is very premature and she hasnt lost sufficient weight i feel to justify it. I think that whatever "transformer" is picked has potentially lost more weight than her. I am interested to see does she actually get anyone to go on the show. Very disappointing to see that the reset was clearly for this show. Im following her years now and she is still the same size.. I dont get how even with a 200-400 calorie deficit per day that she would be loosing even a pound per week? Anyway - people on this thread a fierce protecting of her but the facts are facts- and she hasnt infact lost a huge amount of weight.

She’s not at Jacobs anymore either. They are opened since the start of September and she hadn’t it on her bio either.

Couldn't take listening about that Fiit app anymore either that seemingly has done her wonders 😒. She needs to go see someone for a proper diet plan for binge eating . This programme is a joke

I dont understand how rice crispies can be on a proper diet plan? Like they have zero nutritional value ... And then dont get me started on the nutella ! I think she needs to see areal nutritionist. I wish she would come off insta and focus on her journey. As someone up the thread she is enjoying the swipe ups far too much . Is she defo gone from Jacobs ?

She probably craves more carbs after having the rice crispies... I agree, I cannot believe they are part of her plan. Maybe she should try keto, she could lose a lot fat really quickly

She needs guidance from an expert not any daft diet that won’t work in the long run.

I have done all the diets! Move more eat less!! I lose and put back on I have about 2 stone to lose! I like the slimming world recipes on line and I cook healthy but I don’t like S/W as a group. I think the slimming world diet suits heavier people and I think it would work for Tricia. She works hard at the gym fair play.

There seems to be quite a few former or current PT's who advertise nutrition services but arent nutritionists. Anyone know if there is any regulation in the area? There is one person I am thinking of who was a PT in a gym Trisha went to and now does nutrition but the person isnt a nutritionist

They must have a specific nutrition qualification and their insurance would still only cover them to make food suggestions and give advice on portion sizes, healthy food swaps etc.- not personalised meal plans, especially if the person has a medical conditions like diabetes or crohns for example.
They can advise on what a persons calorie intake is that would suit their goals (lose fat, gain muscle etc) and how to eat to best suit those goals- but can't actually draw up a meal plan as such- to make bespoke meal plans you need to have a nutrition degree.
