Essentially because he's unbelievably thick. Spends all his time wailing about 'trolls', but then when somebody actually shows they're vaguely interested in spending money with him, he doesn't have the ability to talk to them, usually because he doesn't know the answer to the question they're asking. So he spends all his time posting about dogs or playing to the gallery while alienating whatever customer base he has left. Probably why he can't afford to restock his books or containers.
