I think Ireland is full of people like Tigs who aspire to have more all the time. I grew up in a very working class family. I was the first of my family to go to college etc and now have a very well paid job so sometimes I move in these circles.

Anyway when I was much younger I was very impressed by people with a lot of wealth but eventually I realised that there is a certain set in Ireland who just go to the same places over and over again. The Merrion, The Westbury, adare Manor, holidays in marbella/quinta do lago and lately dubai. A ski trip once a year. A chanel bag. It all got so boring. I realised there was more to life and better ways to spend my money. Anyway what I mean to say is I looked up to these people when I was in my early 20s, not when I was 45!!

Snobbery is everywhere in Ireland, wether you have money or pretend to have money it's not a nice trait in a person.
I think she grew up in a certain area and has been doing her best ever since she left to distance herself from her upbringing.

I wonder how much of it is down to her own personality that she thinks she is above everybody else and they all know the truth about them not owning their own home and acting like they are loaded. Part of me thinks that azhar doesn’t let her socialise much and she has to mind the kids all the time. She was never in with pippa. They met a couple of times through the boyfriends golf. She knew Michelle through him as they play together And she as invited to about three things over the years.
