So now Tiffany says she’s going to have someone go through all of the comments and delete “the mean/horrible ones”.
Well I hope whoever is spending their time going through comments and blocking & deleting folks ask her why comments have been left? Nobody can put out stuff to the masses on social media and expect sweetness & light fluffy opinions.

There are no mean or hateful comments. Just comments calling her out on her bullshit. But she prefers to see herself as a victim of 'haters' than take a good look at herself and at what she is doing. She is not an innocent little girl. She is a scheming manipulator. She is a 15 year old brat in a body of a 30 year old grown up.

Hi!
To be honest, it didn't bother me appearing in her video simply because it was the back of me walking in the opposite direction as we passed in the carpark. If I had been recognisable it would have been different as I have not shared my diagnosis with many people and I would be livid if people I knew watched her video.

It wouldn't surprise me if some of the staff at the hospital see her videos. The fact that I saw the shirts and was intrigued enough to look on YouTube, I'm sure others have too.
Plus, the nurses on the day unit who administer chemo are lovely and chatty and I'm sure they would have asked her about the t shirts and looked her up.
In my experience and many others who have had treatment at the Marsden, because I am at the hospital regularly and seeing the same people, the relationship with many of the staff becomes quite close. You are going through an incredibly traumatic time and having hard conversations with these people, you do form a bond. That is why I find it all so hard to understand why Tiffany seems to be so distant from her team and so uninformed.

Thanks, my treatment is ongoing but so far so good; thanks to the amazing people at the Royal Marsden!
Wonderful news. Long may it continue :)
My husband had ongoing treatment for 4 years and I agree, as a family we do have a bond with his care team. Not in a strange/weird kind of unhealthy way, but they sure have been part of our life for the last 4 years and supported us through his diagnosis and treatments. In all the 4 years and countless appointments we have had, we have experienced the most wonderful staff.

Honestly, when looking through the comments most are very kind and then they are scolding her doctors for making this all so confusing. The others are just discussing and sharing their opinions on how confusing this all is. If she deletes all of these she'll have to get rid of quite alot of her enagagment which drives more views etc. This is why she can't treat her cancer journey like a normal youtube lifestyle channel.

Many social media influencers do this, its called a hugbox. Its her channel she can do as she likes. We will keep posting here, bc her blocking doesn't stop the conversation.

Whoever said that she made her mum go out and stand so she could plug in her merch - you are so right. I had to slow it down but her mum is just standing there and then Tiffany talks and waves her in as a cue. Usually when her mum comes she has a bag with her. I feel sorry that her mum is roped into this mess.

Hi everyone :) I have been a TT follower just prior to her diagnosis. Like many people here I am beyond frustrated with the constant confusion and lack of clear updates that she gives. I was delighted to find the comment on her last video informing me that she has a tattle thread as it made me realise I'm not alone.
Personally I think Matt has put his foot down about being recorded so much ever since the backlash of people calling him out for encouraging her not to have surgery. There has been a noticeable absence of him on the vlogs since then compared to before. Can't say I blame him as he has always been so uncomfortable on camera.
Obviously I feel so sad for Tiffany and her family facing what I believe to now be a terminal diagnosis. I just wish that she would remember that people around the world are fully invested in her and playing around with people's mental health whether intentional or not is not okay.

So those of you in the UK...what kind of world renowned system is this -- the RM does not operate with EMR?!?! That explains A LOT! Certainly not everything by any means, but it does clarify some things, for me anyway.
What! Of course it does. Anyone outside the UK please ask questions but don’t jump to conclusions based on rubbish. The NHS is stretched but still offers an amazing service. We pay through our National insurance but it’s there even for those that dont. I for one am grateful to live in a country with a service like this. It has saved my life twice.

So agree. And places like the Marsden are wonderful.

MRI results are available immediately but they need to be looked over by a radiologist and a report written before they can be considered "done". So the delays for results is due to human staffing and urgency. In most private care settings, you can get your results hours after the MRI is done if your oncologist arranges for the radiologist to interpret the results asap. In typical hospitals they say 1-2 weeks which is entirely dependent on how long the radiologist's backlog is.

What I don't understand is that IF her surgeon genuinely cared about her so much and was also concerned about the mess of a treatment protocol (full anesthesia plus days of recovery on unlimited morphine for absolute nothing? How much is that bed costing the NHS? Why is he telling her not to go private?) then he can easily fast track her case. He just needs to call up the radiologist who he is 100% friends with to take a look at her file. There is a strict hierarchy at hospitals and a surgeon of his status is basically like a god or celebrity. He can get any department to produce anything he wants, but for some reason he's choosing not to.
My husband as been under medical oncology for 4 years. NHS.
In the 4 years he has mainly seen his medical oncologist to discuss scan results and disease progression. Which treatment to try next etc. He has also been referred to a surgeon twice and to radiology for palliative radiation to a problematic met.

It's not Tiffany's surgeons position to chase things up. Results from CT/MRI/PET scans are currently taking anywhere between 1 & 8 weeks to be reported on. Since Covid we have a mass shortage of radiographers to report on scans.
Tiffanys main care provider is her medical oncologist. Her treatment plan is discussed in a MDT meeting where a surgeon, her named cancer support nurse and oncologist meet, alongside a radiographer. Collectively the MDT members form a plan and then consult the patient.
Surgeons perform surgery. If surgery is not an option he will discharge Tiffany from his clinic and Tiffany will then only see her medical oncologist.
When Tiffanys surgeon went to see her on the ward, Tiffany was asking why a biopsy had not been performed and was asking to pay for a biopsy. Remember, Tiffany said it herself, that particular day he was in clinic dealing with patients. He had to face an upset patient on a ward. Surgeons diaries and packed and planned weeks in advance. He can't just drop his other patients and offer to do a biopsy for Tiffany because she is upset. It will be a case of him asking for the scan images to be reviewed and then do a biopsy if necessary. If its already spread, doing a biopsy will be pointless. If scans show no further spread, he will likely reschedule a date to attempt biopsy and take things from there.

At this point in time going private is absolutely pointless. Most NHS doctors also work private too, not all, but many do. At this moment in time many private doctors are advising patients to remain with the NHS because its no faster going private.

Lets face some facts here:
1) Tiffany was offered surgery or an option to watch and wait and defer surgery. Tiffany chose the latter. Tiffany chose the latter knowing disease may spread and would then become inoperable if that was to occur. Tiffanys surgeon laid out the risks and did not sugar coat it.
2) When Tiffany was admitted for her latest biopsy procedure, the admission nurse advised her that the surgeon wasn't going to be doing the biopsy. Tiffany was given a choice to go ahead or wait for her surgeon. A choice was given. Tiffany chose to go ahead with the biopsy knowing full well that it would be a different doctor. Tiffany then put out content saying "I just want to speak to my surgeon and ask why he didn't do it." "It's not fair, I want to speak to my surgeon"
Tiffany chose to proceed on admission, knowing full well her surgeon wasn't going to be doing the biopsy. Why is her surgeon at fault?? Anyone care to explain this?

Well said !!!
What we actually pay in national insurance is peanuts in comparison to the cost of the care we receive when we need it.

If any of my family was in the hospital, taking up a hospital bed, attached to a morphine pump and vomiting. I arrive and they switch on a camera to blog and show my T.Shirt? I'd be having a quiet word with them.
When I was in the hospital for my hysterectomy I had a morphine pump attached and needed to be sick. The nurse explained it was the morphine causing the vomiting and took the morphine away. The vomiting stopped.
I see many comments from worried folk pointing out that Tiffany feels sick a lot and doesn't eat much, feels tired a lot. That's the effects of morphine which she takes. Oramorphe.
Morphine puts the bowel and digestive system to sleep. Vomiting is a sign of taking too much morphine.

oh gawd it bothered me too! ,Maybe dry mouth.
Haha. My husbands tumours require Oramorphe from time to time. Oramorphe causes the dry mouth and white spit yep. Husband is aware of it himself so deals with it. If he was recording and uploading videos I would be telling him to wash his face first :D

I do think she is afraid of the PE surgery, and prefers to block out.

As far as full or posterior PE, she said the surgery would be 12 hours long... So this very likely includes some reconstruction work. Like an Indiana pouch for internal.urine collection? Or other things mentioned.

67% of PE patients in one study (at Mayo) had some type of complication. It's a long recovery. She really can't be all weak and floppy about this.
Yes we know. Lots of complications and infections. Probably lots of hospital visits in the first year post surgery. Still could be preferrable if it extends her life.

Yes she mentioned that gyneacology specialists and others (probably plastic surgeons) would be part of the big 'team' so reconstruction would take place.

Hello Laufitz. I'm new but was a lurker for a while. Mainly because I am too lazy to sign up to stuff :)
I too used to feel sorry for Tiffany and yes I would worry about her.
After the video where she asked her subscribers if they would opt for surgery or not. I was relieved to see so many others that felt like me! Cancer doesn't take a holiday or take a rest after all. I changed my feelings about Tiffany when I saw her turn on those who cared about her. Telling them it was her life and she will live it how she wants etc.
Tiffany turned on those who cared and that for me spoke volumes.
It also prompted me to go back and look at Tiffanys older videos where I spotted that she isn't the vulnerable, child-like innocent adult that she portrays in her post-cancer videos.
Finding this forum taught me that my instincts are correct about Tiffany, its not just me. Now that I know how much Tiffany is making from her cancer videos I can understand why there has been no desire for her to return back to work.

On her paper was written that the cancer is in lower rectum a few cm from anal verge. It means doctor didn't have to further than 15 cm from anus. There is no need explore further parts of colon because might happen seeding the cancer to other part of colon. Yes, healthy people don't need general anesthesia. They gave it her probably because she has cancer and pain.
Haha, I am healthy and I needed pain relief for my procedure. I lay on the bed, bottom exposed. Staff asked me if I wanted to see the procedure on the TV. Errr no thanks! Yuck.
When that scope went in and started going around the bend? I felt violated! No, in all seriousness it was uncomfy for me. I wasn't a fan.
I can image patients that have had radiotherapy will experience pain.

Due to Tiffany visiting the hospital following her last biopsy and that visit resulting in admission, diagnostics, prescriptions etc, the surgeon will have had that in mind when he suggested keeping her in this time and doing it under GA.
Just that in itself shows that he cares about his patients.

It's not surprising we've been so confused on here. There are a LOT of potential scenarios and none of us really know which ones are true. A few off the top of my head, but I'm sure that some of you will be able to add others. I hasten to add that some of these I think are highly unlikely.

1 The cancer has disappeared
2 The cancer has progressed
3 Tiff is on a Watch and Wait suggested by the professionals
4 Tiff is on a Watch and Wait but has coined that phrase herself
5 Tiff has been offered surgery and refused it
6 Tiff has been offered surgery and is unsure about it
7 Tiff has been told that she's on palliative care now and doesn't want to hear that from the medical professionals
8 Tiff has been told that she's on palliative care now and is being evasive about it to her followers
8 Tiff is entirely relying on The Power of Prayer for everything
9 Tiff is not as ill as she is making out
10 Tiff is MORE ill than she is making out
11 Tiff is completely clueless
12 Tiff knows absolutely everything and is stringing out videos for money
14 Amma is doing what Tiffany tells her and is benefiting from the money too
15 Amma is privately pleading with Tiffany to do differently and doesn't give a tit about the merch etc.
16 Matt and Tiffany aren't actually all that close and have disagreed about how to progress with her health matters
17 Matt is fed up and disguising that by being mainly at work/sport
18 Matt is extremely worried and is disguising that by being mainly at work/sport
19 Tiff belongs to a cult called YouTubers and the Power of Vegan Juice.

NO WONDER WE ARE ALL SO CONFUSED.

I still don't think any comments have been deleted this time, in a response she claimed she was having a hard time keeping up with them but the ones I've seen are ALL still there, even the one that said she was a piece of work and glad their friendship ended. I posted in another thread here about her hurting herself with deleting the comments because leaving them would create more interaction and generate more money, I wanted to see if she was reading here and would stop deleting..so...are you T? If so, you can wink at me in your next video or just tell everyone how puzzles make you feel cozy ;) your welcome!

Just leaving this here for all those outside the UK who seem to think that The RM is some back street clinic 🤦‍♀️Based of Tiffany’s vlogs.

Tiffany could be a patient at Md Anderson in Texas which is #1 cancer treatment facility and research center in the world, and she'd still talk about being "confused". Most people get it's a her problem, not the hospital or doctors.
