She said that she doesn't want to stay in hospital for 5 days after biopsy. What a spoiled brat, it's like she still can't comprehend what pelvic exenteration looks like and that it will be much much worse than the biopsy.

Listening to the car part again, Matt made the comment 'the colon thing wasn't there last time, remove the whole colon is an extra part..." So I'm not sure what that means, a new tumor or just more removal in the actual surgery now.

I believe there’s a 1in 10 who refuse the surgery and last time Tiffany was that 1..her surgeon knew then she’ll never be ready for this surgery..and I’m going be surprised tbh if she goes through with it..I’d love her to convince me otherwise..
I really don't think she has a choice, at least if she wants to live.

What a sad excuse of a person our Tiffany is. She can't be helped, she clearly doesn't want any good advice, she knows better. Good luck with self-catheterization and kidney infections. She won't be ready for the hell that awaits her afterwards and she clearly doesn't want to educate herself. My compassion for her is getting weaker and weaker with every video and every stupid decision that she makes.
And a colostomy.. Surely a very serious, dangerous surgery that will bring many drastic changes in her life. If she survives it hopefully it will give her years of life. Worst case senario is metastases appearing after the surgery since there is lymph involvement.

she has mentioned quality of life before now and she’s silly enough to believe she’d be better off not living with all the differences the surgery will bring..

This is a great detailed article about this surgery and the preparation process for the patients. Preparation starts 30 days before surgery...

And this is interesting too

Identify Your Caregiver
Your caregiver plays an important role in your care. Before your surgery, you and your caregiver will learn about your surgery from your healthcare providers. After your surgery, your caregiver will take you home when you’re discharged from the hospital. They’ll also help you care for yourself at home.

I wonder who it will be, Amma or Matt?

I don't think the problem is with the doctors...some patients hear what they want. I think deep down at least the sister knows the reality. I think Tiffany knows too. Matt seems clueless on all fronts.
No, I didn't mean the doctors are dimwits at all. TT, Matt, & sister is who I meant.

Honestly I know she's a colossal tit but I do feel horrifically bad for her. She's in an unimaginable position, complete denial and doesn't have one single useful support network. It's harrowing to watch this play out.
Only on this site do people feel the need to apologize for giving a tit.

I have to say that her obsession with the fact she is apparently so much younger than other cancer patients is really quite offensive.
She has mentioned this in many videos, the fact that when she's in the waiting room at the hospital everyone around her is old.
I was 49 when diagnosed with breast cancer, I turn 50 in a week and I don't feel like the "old" person she refers too.
It's almost as if she is saying that it's more unfair that she has cancer than someone my age. I completely disagree, getting cancer at any age is entirely unfair.
It has broken my heart to see young children at the Marsden dealing with the same scans and procedures that I have, but equally seeing a frail pensioner doing the same is just as heartbreaking.
She needs to realise that if she she is putting "Cancer" in her video titles then fellow cancer sufferers will be watching, therefore a little compassion and tact is needed.
It’s tragic. And the younger people are the more aggressive the cancer. My mum is a retired oncology nurse. She specialised in chemo but did radio too

What I heard was that the extent of the surgery now is even more complex. Some mention of taking something from her leg etc. I mean this is major. It got even more complicated with "wait and watch". It was a gamble and she lost.

Not Matt, he works... it will be poor Amma to take care of the princess

He didn't give her hope. She misinterpreted his words completely by thinking that she was suddenly cancer free. He gave her 3 choices (one of them surgery) and she chose to watch and wait. Yes she told us that he recommended to watch and wait but we don't know if that is true.
I agree. Why wait again?! She has already waited enough. She has always been told that her cancer was aggressive. I guess the surgeon just wants to check for clear margins?
Yes in that video Tiffany said her doctor gave her 3 options. 1. Surgery 2. Wait and see 3. She did not mention what was the third option. That left me wondering.

sure hope it is not Matt. It will be Amma. That is interesting 30 days to prepare...timeline about right but she has the additional challenge with the weight issues. I am sure they have given her this literature.

Sounds like it. At least surgery is still an option.

Took a bit of a step away from this thread whilst Tiff was waiting results because I was fed up with her mundane day to day content.
The results weren't surprising but I am relieved the op is still an option - I wasn't sure it was going to be after such a long period of time without treatment.
Intrigued about the next part of her journey and wondering when things will take place, I saw a comment here that Tiff had commented hoping for early Dec? That's only three weeks away and she's expecting to schedule a biopsy, receive results, schedule surgery and to have put on weight by then?
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it was back end of Dec/Jan!
Would she be put back on Chemo if this 6-8 week period saw the tumour grow?

I can’t believe age 29/30 her mum stayed in hospital with her when she had cdif. I was in with hydrocephalus and need to have my brain surgery next month and am not taking my mum. Am an adult!
