I’m still predicting injury gate in the next 4 weeks. When was the last time either of these twats consistently strength trained? And I don’t just mean 1 session a week once a month. I mean every week.

That’s not surprising at all, with the cost of energy and everything else having a running coach is definitely a luxury for most.
Unsure if tits will be able to put two and two together on this topic. He appears pretty basic at the best of times.

Why has he done nearly 20 miles 🤯 if your going for 5K pb why is he doing loads of double days and very long runs….. he has gone from 42 mile week to 90 miles this week. Hello stress fracture. He will never learn, didn’t he do this before and got a stress fracture????

Do we think he's doing an autumn mara that he's kept quiet about?
People have suggested he may be training to pace Kelly but I don't think he'd bother training for a slow one.

I was thinking exactly this, I don't know a great deal about training for a fast 5k bit I'm fairly sure his training plan isn't it. No wonder he can't hit his goal!
I am sure at one point they said they were thinking about doing valencia again? They probably feel they need another foreign trip to somewhere milder while the kids have had to make do with a long weekend at Bluestone for their entire holiday this year.
ETA - and during that Bluestone trip Kelly did at least one longish run, plus probably some more junk miles.

Kelly's done a post telling us how to run easy miles and using her run last night as an example.
She chose a route which was 3 miles of uphill but that was "easy" because she kept "backing off" and walking. I assume that's where her 15 of paused watch time came from. Strava says she ran at a tempo pace. Then raced back down hill 🤷🏻‍♀️
Maybe it's tricky if you run in a hilly place but she has no trouble finding flat to do intervals on to make her times look better.

She has a heart rate monitor and I'm pretty sure she also has a stryd pod. If she used them properly then regardless of elevation there should be no issues in keeping her easy runs easy. That's not accounting for the Strava ego though 🙄

I watched their latest reels this afternoon. Tits 5k sprint finish..... if he had that much energy left at the end did he pace himself properly? And Kelly's form looks awful from the back and the side view looks sped up.

I think Kelly’s article said he was pacing her for Amsterdam and she couldn’t wait as he had run with her for his slowest ever marathon.

I’m doing 20 tomorrow and then cutting back. I’m doing London. Plus this will be my highest mileage week of 34 miles for my training.

The side on view of Kelly running in her latest reel definitely looks sped up - no way she runs that smoothly at normal pace.

Yes, if she's aiming for a PB at Amsterdam it would be silly to ruin it by doing another marathon 2 weeks before. But she has a record of doing silly things...
