I think she is very socially awkward and definitely has some mental health problems which is hard and maybe the way she behaves is a front? I definitely make jokes when I am feeling vulnerable. I think there is more going on in her head than she lets on and if so I do really feel for her. Still don’t want to hear about her wanking though 🙄

She definitely needs some direction. She did ok with that food campaign a while back, but buying a ring light and half-arsedly trying to do the makeup thing was never going to work and she knows it, that's why she does these things and then immediately mocks herself which hardly makes it come across as professional. I honestly think she's clinging onto this insta thing to avoid actually going out and getting a job.

Have to say 👏👏👏👏👏 to her latest story. I'm a single mum that works and my children's dad just leaves me to sort out absolutely everything child related because 'it's my job' so it hit a nerve. Women in this position can't win. Her ex deep down disrespects her for not working but how can she if he won't help to facilitate it for children that he is responsible for!
Completely agree. My ex thinks his life (especially his working one) is much more important than mine. I work but too but my job isn’t as important!

Tbf, if I was in her position I’d want to spend all my child free time going to the pub and shagging aswell! 🤣

He did dump her with a newborn though when she was clearly struggling so he can't exactly be a supportive saint
Yes, after she attacked him physically. Which she posted on her IG and then deleted. Doesn’t suit her narrative to keep that on her profile though, obvs

I find her really funny and she is attractive. She always looks really well put together and classy. Her posts do make me feel sad for her, I really hope she realises soon that’s it not just a man that is going to be the end of her problems and make her happy.

She's going on about the holidays being 'so hard' but her youngest has still been going to nursery, the eldest has been at holiday clubs for most of the holidays and they still stay with their dad 3 or 4 nights a week PLUS she doesn't have the worry of trying to get time off work because she doesn't work. Oh and three holidays, two of which were paid for by someone else! I find it impossible to sympathise with anything she's got to say when I've never known anyone to have it so cushy.

I’ve never known any woman to complain SO MUCH about looking after her own children. I know lots of women that solo parent 365 days a year with no financial or childcare help from the Dads at all.
Shes unbelievable

I'm not jealous, I'm pissed off that this is how the system works. And amazed at how many people defended her when the same people would probably be outraged at a working class family spending their leftover benefit money on luxuries - I won't go down this rabbit hole, but why is this I wonder? Because she's a well dressed middle class insta-famous person with a degree in law? Who knows.
No thanks, I'd rather work and have my kids look up to me as someone who pays her way in life.
All those unemployed people from deprived backgrounds who have the latest phone and biggest TV?

My theory is that they are so marginalised in society, and so used to watching other (probably employed) people treat themselves, that occasionally they think ‘fuck it, I want what they have’. And instead of paying the rent/council tax/buying food, they blow their UC on a luxury item. Of course this causes financial problems further down the line which is why there are payday loans. 🙃 But I can sort of understand why it happens.

We watched Anna do this to a very small extent with charity shop purchases, but I honestly don’t believe she’d leave her children hungry or rent unpaid.

If people are managing to pay for Botox/go on holiday/buy new clothes while operating within the welfare system’s parameters, it’s a bit futile to get worked up about individuals. This is a SYSTEM problem (as you wrote) not an individual person problem. People are only claiming and being paid what the system says they are entitled to. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I can’t believe how much she treats herself to things when she has bailiffs at the door for the electricity bill and her kids are eating off food vouchers.
Earlier in the thread there was uproar that people on UC should still be allowed some luxuries which of course is true, but this is total extremity.
This.

Everyone deserves something to make them happy and a little luxury for themselves. Completely agree.
My luxuries this month have been making a start on Christmas presents for my kid and getting myself some nice shampoo 🙃

It's a balance and it's proportionate to how much disposable income you have, after you've covered your essentials - she appears to have a lot to spend on herself.

There was an interesting post ages ago from someone convincingly suggest Anna is a narcissist. I think that post of hers cements that suggestion.

Dare I say everyone on here who stuck up for her yesterday wouldn't stick up for that poor working class family on the estate who sit about claiming thousands in benefits and all have the latest phones, huge telly, new car...? It's the same thing isn't it? They've both made a conscious choice to not work and live off the state. Why is Anna allowed to spend her benefits on stupid shit and they're not?
I work with all those families you talk about and every circumstance is different. I would say that if Anna is unwell - as we dont know why she doesn’t work, it is a completely different scenario. Ultimately we only know what she shows and no one knows the full circumstances of her finances.
people seem to think they have the right to pass comment and judgment on other people’s lives now , when maybe they should just worry more about themselves and their own lives. Who give a shit if she got Botox

Imagine the injustice of living in an affluent town full of boomers and the local Sainsburys not selling products aimed at an entirely different demographic!!!!
Imagine having so much free time that you give a shit about what your local sainsburys sells 🤣

I refuse to believe that Salter were following her, saw her story about the broken blender and thought oh let's send her some bits. She's 10000% contacted them and begged for some freebies in return for PR.

Also the way she can't even say the word chopper without laughing, despite being in the middle of trying to thank a brand for sending her a gift, really pissed me off. She is literally a 12 year old boy.

The more I think about it the more I think it's really irresponsible that she poses herself as this put upon single mum on UC but also shows a pretty luxury lifestyle with fancy haircuts and trips to London to buy dresses and pastries from the bakery etc. Like which one of these people do you wanna be? Cos there are people who will relate to the former but then feel inferior as they can't afford the latter, and I'm so sure this leads to her followers spending beyond their means, her London oxfam shop trip or whatever it was definitely had me browsing new dresses online which I really don't need.

This is how the whole argument started re her having botox and nails and lip filler and haircuts etc while in the next breath talking about her struggles as a single mother on benefits, I personally will never understand how anyone can follow her and not feel offended at how regularly she spends money on luxuries while also complaining that she's got no money and life is so hard etc etc, when there are people who truly struggle to get by each month, myself included, and I actually work. It's not that I don't think people on UC deserve luxuries, but if it's a choice between botox and new clothes, and feeding your kids and paying the leccy bill it should be a no brainer right?

“On UC but that won’t stop me , £200 boots whilst the kids go hungry”
This!!

I cannot get over the fact that she bought 200 quid boots. My husband & I work full time & we have one child, but no way could I spend that on a whim. She is in another world.
