Kids Alister age (and violets tbh) live on them and it’s a huge part of their socialising. My daughters 11 and they’re all constantly on school group chats.

I’m not a huge fan of it but that’s life now.

Oh I know that , my eldest son is a massive gamer , one of my youngest sons friends ( he’s 8) spends every waking hour on his PS never goes outside anymore it’s sad.. I refer to them as anti social as they’re talking to a screen,

I think it depends on the child tbh. My nephew is 10. All his friends have playstations and play mine raft and fortnite and whatever, and talk about it and play together. He was bought a PlayStation so he wasn’t left out, and he isn’t interested in it at all. He doesn’t care that his friends play and he doesn’t, he wants to be outside, or doing his Lego, and barely touches it.

exactly, l have 6 children and only one of mine would choose to be outside. She hates it when she can’t be in the fresh air. All the others would choose to be on gadgets every time

Yeah it does ! I know Claire limits the screen time she's said before Alistair would spend all day on the switch if she let him. I don't know how successful she'll be as he gets older though.

That's what I find sad ,but it's the way of the world now.

Does anyone else find the music she uses in her Vlogs a little weird? It's sort of 00s teen pop music. Usually rather depressing sounding too and the lyrics never seem to match the contents of the Vlog.

I think the problem is that they live on a farm in the country so the kids are outside for a lot of time and so don’t need the gadgets that other children who can’t be outside like they can will have. I would love for my children to have the outside freedom that her children do but we live in a town on a busy road so they have the gadgets instead.
I used tonlive near her andnits not really in the middle of nowhere x

Everywhere is a short drive away so although its not in the middle of nowhere she lives around 2 miles from her closest village and about the same to their closest small town in the opposite direction which I imagine is where the kids friends are. It's not that far to walk but her kids are young and the roads aren't safe for to be walking on, they are all small country lanes with no paths x

Does anyone else think Graham has asked not to feature in the Vlogs? He only ever appears briefly. ☹

I’d rather not see Graham or the kids in the vlogs, I skip past the parts with Myles too 😂 I’d rather just see the parts when she’s chatting etc.

Yeah it probably doesn't help that he doesn't nap very well. He is only 1, so should be having a good 2 hour nap everyday, but sometimes it seems like it's 40 minutes or whatever here and there.
Just a tricky age when they want to communicate so much but just can't say enough words to get across what they mean. Myles seems to have learnt that by screaming or shouting he gets a reaction probably quicker than if he didn't. So now he's got the habit of screaming for every little thing he wants straight away... and I imagine if he doesn't get it straight away it quickly escalates into a meltdown.

He has few words and I know she was learning him to sign for things he wanted but she seems to give into him too much and it's only making her miserable ,he should be made wait instead of always getting things on the minute he's nearly two so should understand he can't always have what he wants .I'd doubt the nursery would put up with his demands .
