The Iranian regime is terrible and they'll jump on anything they can. I wish Harry hadn't made it so easy for them though. What he wrote was a gift for anyone looking to deflect attention or stir up trouble.

It sounds like he wants to reform the Monarchy in a way that doesn't have primogeniture, because it means he's a 'spare' ( so not a monarchy at all!) and one where they don't have to enter into any devil's pacts with the press. So either a completely deferential press who collude to keep their secrets hidden. Of course, the press couldn't care less about any of them and only pretend to do do if it benefits their sales/ clicks. If the Royals didn't throw them bones, it would be open season on all their behaviour, which possibly could bring them down.

What's funny is that if the person who becomes King was based on anything other than primogeniture, it still wouldn't be Harry.

Harry's thick and over-emotional - no amount of 'King lessons' would fix that. If we had to pick who'd be King between the two, it'd always be William.

Harry needs to reform himself before he concerns himself with reforming anyone else in the family.

He could have stayed in the military but is simply too dim to pass the relevant exams to advance himself. Perhaps a good thing. Judging by his reasoning skills, he would hardly be suitable to plan military strategies.

I don’t know how far down the household they go, but Peter Philips wears the commemorative medals for golden, diamond and platinum jubilee, Edward‘s son James has the Diamond and Platinum, Mike has the Diamond and Platinum. Even Eduardo and Jack have the Platinum commemorative medal. But for Zara, Beatrice, Eugenie and Louise nothing. Why would the blood granddaughter’s merit anything shiney to pin on their coat? <huff. I don’t know why it’s annoyed me that the BRF have only sent Anne to Constantine’s funeral but it has a bit. Every other family has sent the King and Queen, even if Charles and Camilla didn’t want to go, I think they have a France trip very soon, why couldn’t William and Kate go? He was Williams godfather and Williams the heir, sending Anne and Williams cousin just feels a bit disrespectful when the same countries would never do the same in return. It reminded me yesterday my sister asked if I was going to read Prince Harrys book and said William and Kate come across as jobsworths, she might be just about the first person to ever think that about them, cause even with a clear calendar he still sends someone in his place.

Anne was closest to Philip, and was given his mother's tiara, so it seemed appropriate to me that she attended as the relative closest to that side of the family. William's cousin was a goddaughter. Also, there hasn't been a royal family in Greece since they were deposed in 1973 and stripped of their titles in 1974 so it seems reasonable for attendees to be there in a personal rather than official capacity. William may not have been close to his godfather.

I think he commented on how he wants to save his brothers children from it. His whole Schtick re this is that he just wants to raise the issues

Who are the 'spares' he is referring to? Anne & Edward seem fairly content in their roles, and presumably Andrew as an 'envoy' before his fall from grace. Oh - just himself then. There is no evidence that William's younger 2 are being brought up in an unfair way and their press coverage is within pre-agreed parameters. H is peed off that the press published stories about his capers - Vegas for example - when he came back to a huge ticking off about his behaviour.
He is quite happy to court the press for publicity for his good deeds, but doesn't like it when he gets caught out.

I agree that Kate is still cashing in on good headlines because the tabloids need her against M. It won’t last though. I think she would already get more criticism again if H&M wouldn’t f**k up their pr like they do. They are a gift that keeps on giving.

Hard pass on the adult cousins by the way. I doubt any of the for are any less entitled than H&W. Peter has exploited his royAl connections for money quite a bit. Zara is quite good at riding so she seems to be the only with putting really any effort into something. The rest lives happiness of their names and connections. Jury is still out on Louise and James. I think Sophie having some normal life experiences and Edward being a bit of an odd egg (completely positive though- interested in stuff that wasn’t the norm royal, harshly mocked quite a bit….) could be an asset to raising them to more self sufficient, even though they too will enjoy the cushion of relationships and money.

The headlines always pit women against women and since Meghan is ‘gone’ from Royal life who can they pit Kate against? Camilla isn’t as popular, maybe Sophie thought it wouldn’t have the same impact as pitting two women of the same age range against each other. So I think her ‘good fortune’ will last for a long time.
