Armed security costing up to $8,800 per day
Sensible, given the target his Afghanistan claim has painted. One of the most sensible decisions of this press tour, as long as it's billed to private and not public funds.

How important he must feel. This very ordinary, and quite dull man.

He says that he was smoking dope a few years ago, when they first moved to California. Legal there. But dope can feed paranoia in those who are prone to it in the first place.

Why is he carrying around the case - I thought he'd have to have the gun on him. You'd lose a bit of time taking it out of the case if anything happened.

The Times review of the book. I think they have an interesting point when they say William might not have grasped the full extent of Harry's jealousy and frustration.

What's he hoping to achieve with all the constant admissions of drug taken. To look cool? Admitting to taking drugs two years ago with a young child upstairs is perfect amo should meghan ever want a divorce. Legal or not.

A good lawyer wouldn't need to work hard to spin a case for her.

Assuming he still takes them it could help explain his decline and paranoia. They aren't harmless in people who have mental health issues

I didn't realise he'd admitted to taking drugs as recently as that. Drug use seems to have been a consistent feature across his adult life. He seems to differentiate between using them recreationally and using them therapeutically which is what he's doing of course. I think he was very unwise to put that out there. Most people who recount their drug taking days have put them well behind them when they tell their story.

But Harold is no better than those he criticises, he used Caroline Flack’s name to profit from, not even considering or caring of the hurt and pain that would cause her mother/father/sister/loved ones. He also contradicted himself somewhat over the Press being racist, as Caroline Flack was not black, or mixed race but was treated as appallingly as most of the women who’ve dated/married within the royal family. And I can’t think of much worse than a topless photo circulating around the world as they did to Kate. The Press and the Paparazzi were vile to Kate and she was so young when it started. If anything it’s misogynistic.
Harold doesn’t practice what he preaches of others, he’s a hypocrite, he has no respect for others privacy not even those deceased. I can’t see him getting away with this much more before the tide turns if only a little, as I think he’s pushed way too many peoples buttons this time and of those who’ve previously had his back and it will serve him right.
Harry acts as if he doesn't care about injustices done to other women, he solely perceives those done to Meghan.

I always think with these things "only" 300k? Better off not saying an amount.

That Times article g posted by @Em_gardener is spot on. The end line especially about him wanting to be the centre of attention. Embedded in that article is a link to another article about how much damage has been done to the monarchy - not much was the verdict. It pointed out that Diana’s Panorama interview threw Charles under the bus - he could never do the top job etc, but despite all the bad publicity and the highlighting of his flaws, we are now calling him King Charles.

The diehard fans of Harry and his spouse will still think he is great, has a right to tell his story because he is mentally suffering. But having mental health issues doesn’t mean you have carte Blanche to act like a dick and try to destroy the reputations and lives of others. Anyone I have spoken to is heartily sick of Harry and his whinging. Sure, tell your story once, and then move on. Think he has a nerve calling out Paul Burrell for profiting from Diana’s death. He is doing the same.

Dan Wootton has now said he was briefed by the Sussexes multiple times.

Wootton is an unappealing hack which is probably why this hasn't been picked up widely, but these are very direct accusations he's making in a paper that Harry is currently suing.
Those examples he has given are clarifying stories against themselves. They are not telling tales secretly about other members of the family. Harry's point is that he's throwing tit around now openly, but his family were doing it for years about him, secretly. Wooten the moron has just proved their point. Neither of them should have been throwing tit around about the others.
Harry otoh has proved the point that he doesn't want to reform the Monarchy, he wants to go back to the days when the Monarchy was untouchable and included all the cousins/ his children on the payroll unquestionably forevermore. Just like his uncle Andrew, the outrage is that his brothers children are on the gravy train, but his aren't. Im sure they all want to hark back to those days, but the reality is that it just wouldn't fly with the public.

If you exchange the names on his Paul Burrell criticism it's almost word for word what people are saying about him and he just can't see it.

H&M definitely rattled. Their stooge Omid Scobie is liking tweets calling the palace 'entitled inbreds'.

Funny, for a royal news editor.

The whole timing of his epic time is misplaced. We are all suffering the effects of huge price hikes and we have had sucker punch after sucker punch over the last few years. We are facing a General Strike, food banks are commonplace. And yet this pampered manchild thinks including stuff about sleeping in small bedrooms or growing up in draughty stately homes are appropriate gripes for these times.

Incidentally, one of the Times article says that the racism and royal family issue which has not been revealed is possibly being held back to be revealed in Meghan’s book. Yes, we have that litany of woes to look forward to as well.

Plus the £1.5 million for Sentebale. I mean, he'll make much more from the book, considering bookshops are opening early to deal with the rush, but still. He's giving nearly £2 million to charity.

Yesterday I watched a tvprogram about people that fled Belarus, Iran and Russia because of their respective repressive regimes. How Harry can compare his experience of leaving the UK to those who have to go to safety to not end in jail or being assasinated?

Ah people should leave Harry alone, don't they realise how small the garden was in his 1300 sq ft Christopher Wren designed grace and favor home in Kensignton was?! They endured living there while 2 million was spent on the refurb of another house for them. 0.01% of people in central London had a bigger garden than that!
