I don't think the British press ever printed anything about William's alleged affair.

I reckon it is more likely to be about Andrew but they want people to think it's William. But saying that plenty was printed about Andrew. Maybe they are just talking BS.
Tbf it was everywhere (outside the UK 3/4 years bac)k even in Ireland who would a small but unionist outlook it was there.

But in ROI (def a different jurisdiction) and in NI (most likely a different jurisdiction but for historical reasons smila to the ROI) it was definitely reported about

In the age of the internet don't most people who follow royal gossip in the UK know all the affair stuff?

There's been a few *nudge nudge* type articles in the UK press where they don't outright say it, but they might as well.

I think they do but I was asking because I was wondering what story Harry and Meghan might be saying was buried by using a negative story about Meghan. It would have to be a story in the British press in that scenario. Whatever control the RF might have over the British press they have none at all over foreign outlets.

Regarding the so-called extra marital, interesting that Pippa Matthews' baby daughter is called Rose. I mean that's the sort of thing you would do to your Royal sister,, isn't it? A permanent reminder?

That, above all else, makes me doubt the affair rumours.

And William has grown up with both of his parents having affairs and him baring the brunt of it.

Am I reading too much into this or is the new H and M trailer hunting at the rumours around William’s affair when it talks about unfavourable stories? I suppose it could equally be Andrew though…??

Or the pegging story :ROFLMAO:

I honestly think if a scumbag like Dan Wootton had evidence of an affair he would have printed it without hesitation. Even back in the day they couldn't print Tampogate and Squidygate quick enough so I don't think they'd sit on a massive story like that. It would all be in the 'public interest' to expose it.

I wonder if they will say just enough to stoke the rumours but not say it outright. It would be a very cruel thing to do but that does look like their MO.

I was intrigued by the rumours but could never really believe them. Not quite sure why. But never quite rang true to me.

I also think anything very juicy would have leaked from Netflix. I suspect the last three episodes will be as dull as the first three.

Can someone precis any of the bad headlines that Meghan had?

Obviously there was the Compton one and a million articles on her Dad but anything else that was sinister? Being fed to the wolves stuff?

We touched on some of the daft ones in the last thread about avocados and nearly killing Charlotte with lilly of the valley.

When I told my mum about the Prince of Pegging she was mortified. After the tampon phonecall and the toe sucking, I don't put anything past this family when it comes to their sexual antics

I also think Rose is too similar to Kate, I think he'd go with a leggy blond. Imo he seems a bit too grumpy and settled now to have an affair he strikes me as quite sexless, if anything I could believe the Cambridges probably have less sex than the King and Queen

Didn’t they sit on Tampon gate because they didn’t want to upset the Royal marriage? I do reckon if there was something really detrimental to Kate and Wills’ marriage the papers wouldn’t publish it.

Other ones include being related to Jack the Ripper, Meghan made Kate cry, ‘Harry’s Girl on P0rnHub’, the niggling one. Meghan put her hands in her pocket which was a ‘step too far’ for Royal etiquette even though there is a photo of the Queen doing that, Meghan wanted to scent the church which had an article where she allegedly said it was musty and Meghan was being dictatorial however Kate scented the Abbey with Jo Malone candles and nothing bad was said about that. Kate and Wills set up their own company but Harry and Meghan doing that is them being money hungry, Wills and Kate spent Christmas with the Middletown which was fine but when Harry and Meghan spent Christmas with Doris it was ‘Doesn't the Queen deserve better than
this baffling festive absence?’, etc.
There are differing levels of ‘bad’, some I think are harmless but if it becomes a repeating pattern I can see the issue.

I'd be shocked if it was anything other than this, vague difficult to qualify statements with zero evidence to substantiate it.

I'm not surprised the documentary is dry, just disappointed.

Why wouldn't they? They could milk the fallout from it for years. They'd make a fortune!

It wasn’t released until after Charles and Diana had formally separated in 1993 but was recorded in the late 80s.
Also yes they could milk it (in regards to Kate and William) but because they are so loved (at the moment) I can see a massive backlash to the publisher and I honestly don’t see it happening

Also the one about being related to Jack the Ripper, Meghan made Kate cry, ‘Harry’s Girl on P0rnHub’, the niggling one.
Meghan made Kate Cry I can see would be upsetting (though no one seems to know the full story there). I don't know the porn hub one and the HH Holmes one is just another stupid one.

That's what I'm getting at. A lot of it is just nonsense. The stuff with her Dad I can also see being distressing but he was as much a part of that as the press and I'm not sure how the Palace were meant to stop that when TM was busy on TV with Piers Morgan.

I added the my post because I found some more but I also said there that I can see it becoming an issue because it seems a repeated pattern. When Kate and Wills did it, it was ok, but when Meghan and Harry did it, it was bad (like the fragrance in the chapel/abbey).

Wouldn't be so certain about Dan printing that. Has he ever really gone negative about will and Kate? Weren't there rumours he was dating one of their advisors and that's how he got the Megxit story?

But honestly all of that is really, really trivial in terms of TRF stuff. So much bollocks is written about them. If they spent their time replying to that nonsense it would be never ending.

For all my sins I wanted something juicy.
I doubt they will say anything about Andrew because they are friends with Eugiene and apart from alluding to things with Wills I doubt anything will come from it.

Agreed. But even alluding to it is cruel on yeh Wales’ children. In years to come all this will be out there and, whether true or not, the fact that their uncle appears to have endorsed it will make it more serious. It’s always the children that lose in these situation. I find that sad.
