That's really great to hear. I've always liked her and Chatles, for that matter. Both of them are committed to sometimes unfashionable charities. Charles has been proved right on the environment when he was widely mocked in the 80's. They get a lot of flak because of Diana. It is different from fivi g your staff s Christmas bonus when you are one of the richest women in the world and they are serving you instead of their own families ( albeit voluntarily)I've always liked Camilla, so that's lovely to hear.
Yep,my books are excellent....I hear Pippa did a fantastic book on entertainingKate must have a copy
thank God youre here Pippa! Tell me, when my 4 friends come to my house, should I offer to take their coat?Yep,my books are excellent....
In some circles you’d then offer them a drink and show them through..thank God youre here Pippa! Tell me, when my 4 friends come to my house, should I offer to take their coat?
Maybe its because its disconcerting to have loads of photographers around at an event? And perhaps too many photographers get in the way of the event itself?I also like Camila and Charles, they might not be that glamorous but seem to have good values and intentions. It is a shame they were not allowed to marry when they first got together. If they would have been, and everything would have been different in today’s royal family.
I was a bit disturbed this morning when I read that Kate and William only allow one a Royal photographer to attend their events. All other photographers apart from attending events and therefore cannot make any money, as they have no photos to sell.
I don’t know if the same is true for the other Royals.
I find this really bad and I don’t understand the rationale behind it. Apparently one photographer found it ironic that Kate and William visited a job center and brought comfort to people affected by the pandemic, but continue to bar photographers from earning any income without commenting on it.
It seems hypocritical.
Somehow, I find it equally disrespectful as the Tesco Christmas puddings. It comes across as if they do not value the people that work with them and for them, and the royal photographers are very important as they essentially promote the Royals in the UK and abroad.
There were always a number of official Royal Photographers at every event, they were approved as well.Maybe its because its disconcerting to have loads of photographers around at an event? And perhaps too many photographers get in the way of the event itself?
Im not that used to photographers at events, but I know at weddings etc....the official photographer tends to spend ages and ages 'taking' informal photos of the couple and the family....Its great fun for guests as they can continue to socialise and let the photographer get on with it, but.....it does take the wedding couple away from their guests for an hour or so!
What's more important....that the royal family visit the job centre and interact with staff and people who use the place, or that a pack of photographers are given access?
I agree about the Tesco Christmas puddings though...that seems a bit cheap.....didnt Queen Victoria used to give staff hampers to say thank you?
What about ice in the drinks, Pippa? Would you say that that is a good thing on a warm day?thank God youre here Pippa! Tell me, when my 4 friends come to my house, should I offer to take their coat?
The blog post has been picked up by royal photographers and reporters and they say the blogger is right.I also like Camila and Charles, they might not be that glamorous but seem to have good values and intentions. Surely they could put the royal photographers on a rota? There were always a number of official Royal Photographers at every event, they were approved as well.
The recent change is due to the pandemic.
Given that there are still crowds and the photographers don’t get close to the Royals I don’t understand that new rule.
It prevents the other photographers to earn money. They had been approved as a Royal photo graphers before starting that work and now 5hey have no income
They are, they would just need to add the freelancers tp the poolSurely they could put the royal photographers on a rota?

It's true, a bunch of their jewels has been bought for cheap off struggling others, incl relatives (and well, the Romanovs were quite close relatives at that).King George andc Tsar Nichols looked like brothers. I heard the story about the Romanovs too, but not about the diamonds. Thats low.
