This set me off this morning

It really is such an end of an era

Oh bloody hell fire
That is lovelyOh bloody hell fire. I sent a card to Charles today - I sent one to the Queen after Phillip passed and got a lovely card back which I didn't expect. My Grandparents would be proud that I did

I’ve just come to post this, it’s really got to me
I'm comforted that she died in the place she loved the most.I’m not a monarchist, but I have the most profound respect for her. She was only two days ago working and meeting up with the new Prime minister. I greatly respect a woman who did not choose her role but was dedicated entirely to it. You can dislike the institution and still like the person. I always got the impression she wanted simple things, riding a horse, walking in wellies with damp dogs - the travesty of the institution is it took her away from a life she may have preferred.
Death is always sad. Mortality is always an unhappy state to dwell on, and even the death of someone you bitterly oppose can only make you contemplate it.
Oh no, I'm off againI’ve just come to post this, it’s really got to me![]()
I think they had the ongoing UK coverage for it and then probably went to all the international BBC sites with the formal notice and that this would be the clip used by other media outlets? Can anyone who was watching the BBC news live yesterday evening shed some light on something for me? I get the impression from this tweet they announced the Queen’s passing and then shortly after moved to the more formal “This is BBC news from London” announcement followed by the national anthem? Just thought it was a bit odd if so as it seemed to be a departure from protocol.
Look at the review replies she's posted on her shop. Whenever someone says they don't like something, she argues the toss. Seems a horrid women.I don’t understand this mentality. Despite your opinions on the monarchy a person has died, it’s disgusting and spiteful thing to celebrate. Glad karma got her.
Can't get my head around it yet, Will definitely take a long time. It's going to take me a while to get used to saying King Charles.
Exactly. It is so disrespectful. What an idiot she is.I don’t understand this mentality. Despite your opinions on the monarchy a person has died, it’s disgusting and spiteful thing to celebrate. Glad karma got her.
Maybe this is naivety on my part but, regardless of your feelings, who celebrates when an old lady passed away?!Here’s an example of instant Karma, this insensitive twit was pictured ‘celebrating’ at her fish and chip shop only to have to close the shop and call the police to rescue her from a furious mob! What a twit

It's not very professional when you have your own business. Her conduct won't have boosted it in any way.Maybe this is naivety on my part but, regardless of your feelings, who celebrates when an old lady passed away?!
Sadly not surprised. People were doing it when Thatcher died tooMaybe this is naivety on my part but, regardless of your feelings, who celebrates when an old lady passed away?!
