There’s a slight misconception that Scotland doesn’t like the Queen. Even Nicola said if they got Indy then she’d still be under The Queen. So this dippy mare got it so wrong. Also as you say, why would you celebrate anyones death, especially a mum, granny & great granny.

Please don't read Twitter today, guys. There's a coordinated effort to demonize HRH and it won't help any of us deal with this grief.
I think many people are surprised by how they feel. It goes to show how valued she was by so many even if we didn't necessarily realise it at the time as she was 'always there'.
To be fair to her, she looked like a rabbit trapped in the headlights, when she came out of nunmber 10.
I did feel a bit sorry for her. Been in the job a day! Only met her majesty on Tuesday. I thought the tributes from Boris was touching. As were the ones from the few presidents. I was ok until I saw the Haka in NZ. It’s so moving

I mean there comes a point where your body just can't go on no matter what you do.
This is right. I live in Glasgow, support independence, but the death of such an iconic Queen is devastating and I’ve seen and heard nothing but respect for her passing.
Well there's been a lot of theories from people with 'sources' but I don't think we will ever know for sure.
I think it must have been fairly quick and unexpected (to a degree) seeing as the rest of the family didn't even manage to get to her. If she slowly deteriorated overnight I would imagine the family would be making their way over in the morning.
I'm suspicious of Truss...Does anyone know how/why she died? What was her cause of death? Very sad

I noticed the footage of her opening the Hospice in July, the opposite hand to the one we see from Tuesday was badly bruised too.
The recent pictures of Charles and Camilla. I can't. They look broken.
I wasn't too upset at first as I knew she was comfortable and with her loved ones but I heard a beautiful choral version of the national anthem and bawled my eyes out.
You have to also feel huge sympathy for King Charles.
Losing a parent is hard at any age - however he is 74 (not exactly a spring chicken) and has lost both his parents within 18 months.
And to now have to take on a new role as King - that's going to take a lot of courage
