Well I’m feeling very sad. To me it’s the end of an era. She’s been there, in the background, for all of my life. Just plodding on. Never wavering. She’s been attacked by the IRA, by republicans etc but just kept going. She’s a wee superstar. And just over 30yrs ago my partner swore an oath to her as a member of the armed forces and that never wavers. It’s never for politicians or others. It’s for the queen. So yes, I’m going to shed a tear
