The Michalaks #4 Claiming sobriety, what were they thinking? It’s not semantics when they’re still drinking

duck off about being poor when Hannah can just drop nearly £80 on make up.
I get the sense they keep their finances quite separate - she seems to be able to spend a ton on things - getting a breast reduction while Stef is claiming poverty. That can't have been cheap! I am guessing because she still gets brand deals on instagram, but he doesn't really have an income stream in the same way.

I still wonder how they got such a massive mortgage approved! Surely they don't have a steady income and their brand deals have never really been that consistant!

Even Hannah doesn't have many brand deals anymore does she? Her latest one was the Muller yoghurts. There's a cringe comment on their from someone on that reel saying "yes Hannah, take the money, I support you". Hilarious, they clearly saw it was a money grab.
The glory days of being taken for a weekend away by land rover and the like seem to be long gone for them now.

Are they still dead set on Portugal? I think they are making a mistake and Spain would be better; huge digital nomad communities now in all the major cities and also in beach towns. Better connected than Portugal and better international schools and a more used language. Portugal could be very isolating - will they use local schools?!

I imagine a divorce would be pretty complicated in terms of money and parts of the business, speaking specially re YouTube .. considering it was Hannah's channel to start with and then Stef took it over (and subsequently killed it), but i'd imagine the pique of their income earned* was when it was Stef predominantly putting the time into it, all the hours of editing and silky montages, while she was more the primary parent for the two young kiddos. How do you put a price on / split assets when your livelihood has been built together and selling your own family to do so.

*I use the term 'earned' lightly 🙃

Are we getting the vibe she’d like to split with him? I don’t watch them anymore as find them a bit depressing and I just need escapism running a business with three young children myself.

Are they seriously putting advertisement for their crappy cards on their CAR? That's a new level of desperate for them

I don't watch the vlogs anymore either. As someone else said they are just too depressing and a Stef ego trip. All his woe is me, no one has spotted my genius yet, how can tik tokkers be more popular than my silky montage of Hannah putting on her make up?

For years I have wondered if Hannah regrets marrying him. She used to have quite a few friends in the mummy blogger world. She seemed well liked and knew how to have fun. He always looked down on her music taste, her friends, her having fun. Not cool enough for him and now they seem more co-dependant than genuinely happy together.

Ginge actually thinks the stupid cards are a legit business idea. Get him on Dragon's Den now! Gray is selling bookmarks again at five quid a pop. Looks very beggy to me. Selling most of their possessions to fit in the van. Hannah taking us round her fave Bath spots, yet they are running away.
Imagine being stuck in a transit with that overly medicated weirdo.

. I watch this couple on YouTube, they have a tea/coffee company and on every packet they have ‘conversation starters’….just like Blackout cards!! He has completely just copied what was already out there, it’s not a new idea. 13.23 they mention them.

Instead of Stef buying Grayson a MetaQuest for Christmas/birthday - he gets Grayson to beg online

I'm dying, I googled "blackout game" a lot of the links are to some online warfare game, the only physical game that came up is this "erotic drinking game" https://blackoutgame.org/ 😂. None of the searches throw up steffs game. They didn't do a lot of research if they are flogging a family game with the same name as a sex game.

I loved their vlogs and he’s great editor, and she’s gorgeous and I like her taste in a lot of things.

But for some reason I’ve found his declaration that they need more “passive income” followed by various ventures as off putting. IDK why as I’m sure that the way a lot of people think
about passive income but it just puts me off buying the product/service.

I’m sure we would all like to enjoy passive income but most of us accept we have to get off our backsides and actually work to earn a living.

It might improve their mental health if they did go out to work..... to mix with other people

Good point, did steff socialise with anyone outside his family? Hannah occasionally sees friends (mainly other Insta mums tbh - her friendship with Lucie Huchin is the fakest).
Is the plug for the "friends house" (aka an Airbnb) an undisclosed ad? They sure tagged it enough, and mention them for a discount. Sounds to be like they got a freebie weekend in return for the mention?

I think most of us here loved Hannah in the early days. I had my babies at roughly the same time as her and really enjoyed the content 2014-2016, he gradually took over, dulled her sparkle and tried to monetise every single thing she does. Oh Hannah likes yoga? Cool, sell courses.
