When they were at eurodisney she said it was ok for the kids to miss school cos being in private school means 'they gave to do all the work anyway' but then turns out Izzy isn't able for the work and needs learning support - so which is it?

My son is 18 he did ok in his GCSE's picked up 3 subjects in a level after 6 months his head of sixth form sat down and said this is not for you etc wanted to see what he wanted to do. He stick it out sat his first year exams and didnt do as well as he was expecting so his head of sixth form had a meeting with myself and my son to discus his options. He has had to re do year 12 and finishes he A levels this year with 3 different subjects. He has been predicated A* A and B and has applied for university. I can tell you tho it hasn't been easy for him he has had days where he hasn't got home from school till 10pm as he has had rehearsals (he is doing music) he has had performances and has had to be at school at weekends. Isabelle will struggle trust me. GCSE's are just as stressful as A levels ok maybe not to that extent. They will not be able to swan off on holidays etc she will need to do as much revision as possible. My son over xmas was cramming in revision as well as working and having a social life as his exams have started already. I barely see him.
he’s done really well, you must be so proud of his hard work!

I feel for Isabelle. When choosing my GCSE’s, my mum told me to pick what I wanted to do, not what she thought was good or what my friends were doing. Lazy controls everything, let Isabelle have this one thing, it’s her future

cannot believe they pay for Isabelle to go to private school just to get less GCSE’s than the average child - make it make sense???
They are talking about reduced GCSE’s and additional learning support. For Isabelle’s sake (and the others) just SEND HER TO SCHOOL EVERYDAY. Give her sufficient time to study and get her homework done, instead of the silly book she’s colouring in. More especially give her sometime to relax (look after the baby yourself Sarah) and try bed by nine.

I liked how Lazy and Isabelle discussed doing a language and decided on Spanish due to lots of countries speaking that whereas German and French are only spoken in Germany and France. God help those children with that idiot as a mother.
You’re joking lmao

Why did they all have to go watch cats anyway? If I’m not mistaken It seemed like it was only Esme who expressed an interest In it.
Since Chris is only into Disney or movies with teen girls in then why didn’t he stay home and look after Jace
It’s ludicrous to take such a young baby to the cinema anyway.
Sarah could easily have taken Esme or perhaps Isabelle could have sat in with her to save themselves some money.
Why do they always insist on doing everything together even when it’s clear they may sometimes have different Interests.

Isabelle really struggled with the transition from primary to secondary and the workload change, from what I can remember

I dropped language for 'life skills' and got 10 GCSEs B-C. I had to drop out of my AS Levels because I was pregnant and joined a university fast track course when my daughter was 9 months old to access higher education. It was a 6 week course full time then I could pick what degree I wanted to do. I decided to study Public Relations and graduated after 4 years (spread my third year over 2) and graduated with a 2:1 :)

Oh and got a gold merit award for life skills but hey ho I still got pregnant at 17 and wouldn't change it for the world.

Shouldn’t this be classed as a made for kids vlog? Judging by the comments there are obviously a very lot of younger people writing in response to it!
they refuse to set them as kids and completely ignore YouTube’s recommendations, hopefully YouTube will realise and take the correct action

She’ll have to take maths, science (min 2 usually) + English language and English Literature too, right?

We looked at private schools and they did 3 GCSEs in year 9 (usually languages and “soft humanities”) and then did the full raft of English x2, science x3, maths, geography or history, a language, an art and an option in year 10 and 11.

And learning support at the private schools we looked at was more along the lines of how to revise, how to sit exams etc.
Exactly right

Sarah didn't do A levels so why did she say she did in the vlog?
I thought I’d misheard her say she did A level but couldn’t put myself through the trauma of a rewatch to check

Exactly - looks if she’s struggling with school work due to the amount time off on jolly holidays - I also think she struggles with socialising because she very rarely mixes with friends outside school

She had something similar in primary for SATs if I remember rightly?

Sarah claims to have done 50 minutes of Shakespeare for A level drama and yet she couldn't say Pinterest a few minutes before.

That's what I thought too, Sarah could have taken Esme and Isabelle and Chris could have stayed at home with the younger two. They'd already said that no-one but Esme wanted to see it and they probably bullied her into leaving early.

Did she seriously just ask the viewers to comment down below what they think Isabelle should do re GCSE choices. It’s like the Truman show meets big brother. Poor child. She deserves a mother who’ll have this conversation with her without making it public property for cash 😭
