Yeah my other half works the ski seasons in the French alps and he says the police there don't mess around and take things very seriously.The French police are not a pleasant bunch! On one of my first forays on my own into Paris as a teen ( we lived in the suburbs), I got lost, this was before Google maps/phones with an internet connection etc) and so decided to ask a police officer for help, as that is what I had been taught to do in the UK ( where I was born and lived until I was 6). His response was “G9 that way” with no arm gesture to tell me which way to go! My brother ( we were all 20-30 at this point) was also driving my parents, my siblings and me back from lunch or dinner in Paris one day, his licence had fallen down into the side pocket of the car, he took a wrong turn due to confusing signage and I was so scared the policeman was going to arrest him when he couldn’t find his documents!
I also worked at an after-school club, where we would pick the children up from various local schools. One of my colleagues gave me a lift, and as we were getting out, the police officer informs us that the car ( provided by my bonkers boss) we are using does not have suitable seating as seats in the boot facing backwards have been outlawed for a few years. My colleague spoke minimal French, so I had to deal with the whole scary situation! I think I must have given him my boss’ name and told him where I worked, and that I was not in charge of providing the cars etc. Luckily he let us pick up the child we had to collect, but again, not a fun situation to be in, and French policemen are not very friendly!

The car seat spins. They've shown Isabelle turning his seat around. The whole thing seemed quite wobbly when she did it so I'm not convinced it's fitted correctly and of course, there's no proof that he is always rear facing when they're driving but they have shown him rear facing more often than not.

So hang on , they are in France but have they mentioned anything about proving their vaccination status or taking pcr tests etc on entry ?? Have I missed that bit ?
I was also there in 2019 and felt incredible underdressed, thought we would be turnt away, i could feel their eyes on me whilst walking around in the casino.

France require a vaccine pass for everything including public transport, restaurants, Disney.
No way will they get PCR tests every 3 days. I bet the oldest are all vaccinated.

I don’t agree with a lot of things Piers Morgan says but I think he’s spot on with this time. Of course the Inghams will say that it’s not an exact copy of Jace but that’s not how they marketed it. Any way they’ve made the papers again. They’re going to be so annoyed that they’ve got the subs wrong as well

I don't know how Esme would already be vaccinated, she isn't at school so won't be signed up to their vaccination program and I can't see her getting a letter from the nhs inviting her for a vaccine, my daughter who turned 16 on Weds only just got hers this week to have hers outside of school but she is having her vaccine at school next week alongside the flu jab. Also I don't even think Issy is vaccinated. I'm also pretty sure you still need to be doubled jabbed in France so the kids would need a PCR anyway.
I’ve had the most terrible day, last night I had to go to the emergency vets and have my 15 year old Jack Russell put to sleep, she was our whole world.
I take comfort in knowing she had the best life we could have given her and loved us as much as we did her, these arseholes infuriate me how they don’t give a tit about their dog, they really don’t deserve her.

It's another example as to why the kids can't go to school - their parents' have made them laughing stocks in the national media - again. It's not even about Chris being a nonce any more, even Piers Morgan calls the whole family creepy because the parents have sold every last bit of dignity they have. I don't believe a word the fat witch says. Certainly not about how often they stop and get out. They have a baby and a two year old in that rattletrap fkn van as well as three older kids. Have you ever done long road trips with kids? I have. You need to stop a lot.Imagine being on holiday, and stopping all the time to take in the views etc, as Sarah said they do! Must take them double the time to get anywhere!,

For a start having small kids in car seats for hours on end is incredibly dangerous, as the pressure of the firmly drawn straps and the static positioning can cause DVT. Mila's legs were grey in some videos and many of us here were really concerned about it.
That sloppy cow might claim they "stop all the time" but it's my contention that they actually inflict many more hours uninterrupted travelling on those kids than is good for either their physical or emotional well-being. No more than four hours a day driving was recommended to us by our paediatrician when we took our two kids around Australia and that not all in one go. He was very firm that in the breaks between driving the children had to be permitted to move freely about, to run and to crawl on the ground on blankets in the case of the baby. he also stressed the importance of massaging their limbs during these breaks and again at the end of the day or at least before bed.
The Mingins do twice that driving time most days and are lucky to stop for lunch. Why do you think they have that trolley full of sugary drinks and crisps right by the kids' seats? So they don't have to stop, get out of the van, allow the kids time to de-stress and exercise or actually make the effort to prepare them decent meals.
