RENTING A REMOVAL VAN AND STARTING THE MOVE!!
Today feels like the start of a new week. It's Saturday, and Lazy and Creepy are off to pick up a van because they have a lot of stuff to move.
Looks like it's safe enough to leave the kids at home alone now. Lazy shocks herself how much they have. They've booked a removal company and van because Lazy is pregnant so unable to lift heavy things. They have the wardrobes, bed, washing machine, dryer, the American fridge/freezer in the garage and marble tables. Everything big is being moved by a removal company because they come and dismantle them, move them to the new house and then "mantle, what's the word? Assemble". Cackle. Creepy asks Lazy if she went to school and he tells him he's so rude. Lazy tells Creepy she's lucky to have her and not to forget that...
I don't think she's joking either! Lazy doesn't feel comfortable with people doing their whole house and going through her drawers so they've booked a van to take over smaller bits. They've got a van now because the builder is understanding and knows they have a lot to move so has given them early access to the house. Today is operation garage.
Jace love trucks and vans. If a truck went past at Center Parcs, he would stand up in the sand and shout "watch truck". When he sees the van pull up on the drive and gets to sit in it he will love it. Creepy is still wearing the diarrhoea trousers. Lazy needs to go to Matalan because she bought pyjamas in 14-16 and the top fit perfectly but the trousers were a size 8-10 and wouldn't comfortable go up Lazy's butt cheeks.
Wouldn't you check the label before you leave the store? She's also off to B&M for batteries and floor mats.
The traffic was insane. Creepy asks Jace if he want to come and see his truck. He puts Jace in the truck and he pretends to drive, pressing all the buttons. Creepy says this would've been his dream when he was a little boy. Esme comes and joins Jace. Creepy is off to move the caravan. Jace tries to say caravan and Creepy says "cleeeeever boy" and that he repeats everything he says. He need to move the caravan to the top of the drive and empty the garage, which will hopefully be empty by the end of tonight. He hopes he will only need to do one run to the house but will probably need to do 2. He's not looking forward to it because the garage isn't organised. He shows us his new purple skates and says he's sad that he can't use them for at least a week.
Creepy moves the caravan. He films opening the van and moving the boxes from the rammed garage into the van. Jace runs around in the back of the van. Creepy asks if he wants to go on the lift and woohoos as he does so. Lazy then gets back with his dragon toy, which Creepy put in the garage. Creepy continues shoving boxes into the van.
Lazy says they have a pile of free unwanted stuff that she's going to put on their drive for the neighbours. Whatever isn't taken will be given to charity. She got home excited to get out of the car and has now lost the car keys.
Lazy has found the car keys but Isabelle has now lost her phone. She can't get Jace out of the truck. They're giving away the bikes, some toys and the big frames that were in Isabelle's old bedroom.
Creepy and the older two girls have gone to the new house to drop off the stuff. Whilst they're doing that.... it will take so long for them to unload the stuff because it was rammed in... Lazy is holding the fort with Isla and Jace. Isla is playing outside and Lazy is about to make dinner. Jace wants to go to bed so he's watching tv in Lazy's bed. He was saying "pog in mamma's bed" pog means hug in their family. Lazy, Isla and Jace are having fish pie with vegetables and potato wedges. She's ordered a treat for after dinner from a dessert place.
Whilst dinner if in the oven Lazy is gong to check hat has been taken off the drive. The Monster High house (which the girls weren't interested in) is still there, along with the LOL van. Lazy's boot is full after her trip to B&M. She got Isabelle a pink fluffy duvet set because it matches her theme but Lazy thought it was a throw and Isabelle doesn't want to use it. She also got some more fake plant animal pots for Jace's bedroom, a gold mirror for Isabelle, more baskets for the nursey and a basket of cleaning products. She needs advice on the best type of floor mop for a marble floor. Creepy usually wipes them with a disinfectant wipe. Lazy found a mirror in Ikea the other day, but they didn't buy it because they had so much already, and she has been thinking about it since. She found a mirror in B&M which is surrounded by feathers. Lazy found a lamp for either Isabelle's room or the baby's.
Over at the new house, they're unpacking boxes. Esme and Isabelle were going through them. Isabelle is stood in a corner because Creepy told her not to film any sneak peeks of the room. They're upstairs and found cards in the box so they're playing card and putting stuff in the bathrooms.
Jace is trying to catch bubbles in the kitchen. Lazy shows us Isla's dinner. Jace's pie is still hot. Only Jace, Isabelle and Lazy like fish pie. Lazy told Isla that if he ate lot of her dinner they have a special dessert today. She is having to sit with her eyes shut and Jace is taking everything out of the bag. She opens the box and Lazy tells her they have to share. Isla samples both. Jace scoops out the middle of the cookie and it's hot. Jace ate all his peas and nearly all of Lazy's.
Esme and Isabelle have unpacked the bathroom box into their bathroom. Creepy say there aren't many boxes in the kitchen now but there are a very lot in the living room and upstairs. When they some back tomorrow, he will unbox the corner sofa in the living room. Esme is excited to come back again. The van was packed to the rafters when they arrived a couple of hours ago but now it's empty. Creepy films himself closing the van door.
