Eric and Allison endure another episode of running out the clock with Clementine in Mexico. They moan about the weather punctuated with declarations of awe of the surrounding natural beauty until they tap out in a small local motel.
My god they are not natural RVers. Especially, full timer RVers. There is nothing wrong with that ‘cause I know I am not for sure, but I don’t travel around in an old rig, miserable to share on social media. Get to rebuilding a house already or travel to the Italian Riviera already.

Friends of Eric and Allison have gone RV lifestyle (4 months a year at least) at The Delightful Travelers.


Just like too many Vloggers they picked something not for practicality and ease of use, but on looks. In this case their tow vehicle based on looking unique and interesting and not you know FOR HOW IT CAN TOW! They bought an FJ Cruiser which is a fine vehicle but it has a modest tow rating. Then they buy a stick and tin single axel travel trailer which they plan to live in four months or so a year and drive all around. I just don’t think this is a well thought out combination. If you are going to be lugging around a travel trailer even a fairly lightly built one just get a truck or a full sized SUV. At least E & A when they went to a Travel Traider at least ended up with a hardened four seasons rig and bought a proper pickup truck to tow it. (Ruby I still think was a dumb and needless expensive choice.).

I get not ever purchase has to be practical. When you are planning on living and moving constantly for months at a time, this is a dumb combination.

My brother has suggested I buy a tiny house a couple of times. I had to point out that I would have to also buy a trailer and tow vehicle and then rent a spot to place the tiny home. By the time I pay for all that I may as well stay in my current rental.
I used to watch the "Delightful Travellers" but they turned me off when they kept recommending traveling to the Dominican Republic during the height of the pandemic because they had zero Covid restrictions and no vaccine, testing or mask requirements to enter the country and everything is super cheap. It was because they desperately needed the revenue from tourists, so I felt these two were taking advantage and I didn't like it.
Seems, based on the comments, that many men watch EA's videos because they think Alison is hot. Hey, whatever gets people to watch!

Yeah, the amount of perv comments that traveler couples get is insane. Hopefully Endless don't cater to that at some point like other travel couples have.

They have a bit. I remember one time when they were working on Clementine and Alison was leaning over with her behind in the air working on something and Eric filmed it and said "there's the money shot right there." I can think of a few more examples.
But I think in general their content is pretty tame compared to, say, Wonderhussy who constantly films nude "soaking" videos and blurs out her nipples.

Yeah, they're willing to do this to increase views and subscribers.
I have to presume Alison is on board with this, so good for them I guess?

Yeah, they're willing to fall into thirst trap content to keep the views going. Good for them, but not so good for the "wholesome" image they built up over the years and it's not a long term solution.

Do they have a wholesome image? They always seem to be playing the innuendo game and having Allison’s butt on offer. They aren’t salty either. Allison is just not my type, but if she sells to a certain slice of the audience use that money maker. They are PG toPG-13 to me.

With an overheated Clementine and a snapped bolt on Ruby their RV life ends.

They must look back and think how did this go from a few week project in 2020 so we can drive around in the Fall/Winter until Covid passes to a 4 year+ ordeal? (Lots of reasons, but #1 is buying a 45 year old rig that was run down for long term living is an insane idea which with a tad of research would have been obvious.).

It was pretty clear early on they were not enjoying the full time RV life. They gave it a try. I don’t want to knock that, but they do what so many vloggers do is pick things for aesthetic value over practicality.

I take it they will be announcing a new project house for an AirBnB or just to have soon. I hope it all works out, and they don’t buy the equivalent house as a 45 year old C-class rig.

It's my feeling they need to take a break from the channel for a while. Recuperate and think about what they want to do. They both just lost family and them grinning and soldiering on isn't great.

What happened wasn't that big of a deal. They already knew the RV overheats in hot temps. The bolt working loose on the tow hitch is more concerning because they could have lost Ruby and caused a major accident. The mirror rusting out, another meh. The worst IMO was Eric getting a piece of metal or whatever in his eye. Guess he hasn't heard of wearing safety glasses when working underneath something.
I guess since driving from Baja to Texas isn't particularly exciting they had to try to make something of it.

There are fixer uppers and then there are bulldoze and start fresh. There land strikes me as the later.

i will give them credit. Unlike the Travel Beans who want cheap and minimal effort to spruce up at least EA understands their in for a lot of time and effort.

Can they really afford to build a home, a guest house and landscape this property? It's going to take years. I guess it's content though.

They claim everything is too contaminated to touch, then they walk through it wearing shorts and touching things barehanded. They even touched stuff that had been sitting in the fridge for ten years. Then Eric ran his hands through his hair Then to top if off they end up with chiggers bites from walking the property without applying bug repellent.
They seem nice enough but they're not exactly in the running for the Mensa Society.

Someone has dared to comment on their drinking in their videos. Surprisingly the comment is still there.

If an ex-alcoholic comments on your drinking, I think that's when you should stop and think. IMO he has a point. They might explain away that they don't really drink as much as it seems etc. but I think the problem is in their attitude seeing alcohol as a reward. In every video they either stop at a brewery, winery, pub or drink at home/van. TBH so many YouTubers seem to either have a drinking problem or are borderline problem drinkers, in addition to this couple, I'd say Happy(?) Days, the other half of Travel Beans... I could go on.

I think it must be the issue with travelling all the time, although they are working it is kind of like an endless holiday. I don't drink often when I'm at home but when I go on holiday I definitely do (the difference being I go on holiday once/at the most twice) a year
