So they think driving to Mexico is good idea? Ok.

Flying the nest is starting a US roadtrip I bet even with 2 kids in tow they get more sights done than these 2.

they have declared their love for Texas once again. My guess is after this RV trip they are going to announce some home/property renovation project and that will be the focus of the show for a long time. I do wonder if they are going to announce the plans for Clementine. Are they going to mothball her, is she going to be parked at the new site as short tern housing until they can move into the new place, is Clementine going to be made into an Air BnB? I do wonder if they are going to jump right into the new effort, or are they going to use the post Clementine EA as a chance to fly off to some overseas trip? Yeah. I think taking Clementine to Mexico is taking an unnecessary gamble.

I think Texas is fine. Their joint effusiveness over the Lone Star State sure seems to me to be a prelude to then announcing Texas is going to be their permanent home. (Makes more sense than their friends the travel Beans suddenly thinking Sweden is the place to be during their first time visit.)

I have reasons for disliking Texas so if their channel is going to be exclusively Texas content I'll unsubscribe. (I'm sure they won't be bothered if I do!)

Clementine breaks down again in the heat. Color me shocked! Shocked!

So they are traveling in the Southwest and maybe even Mexico and decide to carry on since they will just drive when it is cooler out. What?

First, the more this happens more and more it’ll stress the engine and transmission etc that could lead to much bigger issues quickly. Second, why not do a plan B or C and drive North at least or just fly someplace or get back to their travel trailer. Stop trying to make their old class C like a brand new rig which she just isn’t.

Also, who ever did the LS swap sure under calculated their radiator and transmission cooling needs. I’d be pissed at the mechanics.

I don’t think they stupid, but they are stubborn and sometimes to a fault. Sure, they might get away with it. They might blow a head gasket or throw a rod and they are in deep trouble. I really don’t get it. (Hey, y’all we broke down big time 100 miles from anywhere in 95 degree heat. So we had to drive in Ruby in the same heat to get to an area with cell service to tow Clementine to a garage. Things are not going our way.)

I didn't understand why they didn't think to detach Ruby as soon as Clementine started overheating. That's just basic common sense. I'm not mechanically inclined at all and that would have been my first action. (Well, I wouldn't have attempted to make this trip during the summertime, but they're past that.)

I don't know if they need the income from YouTube that badly to risk breaking down in the middle of the desert in AZ or in Mexico, but it sure seems ill advised to make this trip.

They are just dumb, when they keep making the same stupid decisions over and over and over again. Plus with the same thumbnail and title.

What whiny babies they are.
Don't they have a clue that you cannot film in casinos? Or that it's hot in Arizona?
Whine, whine, whine and then whine some more.

I get the impression they absolutely just HATE what they're doing, but when the alternative is to GET A JOB they would rather carry on in misery.

OK, I watched the video and it wasn't as bad as I expected, maybe because it was so short. It was very unwise of them to expect that staying in an open, unshaded parking lot in June in Arizona wouldn't result in extreme heat. Apparently they didn't bother doing any sort of research. Or pay any attention to common knowledge about summer in AZ.

I just find the channel very uninspiring these days. We only see 20 highly edited minutes of the MOST interesting things that happened over a week so the rest of their lives must be extremely boring. And so many compromises being made on comfort and convenience to live permanently in an RV. I’m amazed they’re still doing it and not surprised they’ve changed their mind about the longer term.

I really do wonder what they do when they are not filming or editing. I get there is probably planning and such also going on. This was one brief video staying overnight during a larger trip and all it was is a parking lot and video poker machine. They are clearly distracted by something else. My goodness talk about a clickbait title. They used to be better than that in the past.

Only these 2 fools would take a breaking down RV to Mexico.

"Don't do what we did."
"We feel pretty stupid."

That should be their motto or channel name.

Yeah. First going to Mexico in such an unreliable rig is pretty sketchy. Second, plowing ahead and driving over two hours rather than doubling back for the form right away was just ridiculous.

they just have this stubborn streak through them that rarely serves them well. They aren’t dumb, but sometimes just stop instead of going forward anyway.

I am glad that so nothing bad has occurred to Eric and Alison in Mexico. Boy, when they travel by RV I just get the feeling it’s another episode of surviving rather than exploring and experiencing something fun. I don’t know. Traveling around Mexico in tiny Ruby seems less safe and secure than if they were in the Ford pickup.

My guess is that whatever they have planned next they cannot start for a few months so they might as well go on one last RV trip to bide time. Otherwise, they would be doing something else.
I hope whatever they do next they actually enjoy.

Eric and Alison have always seemed pretty careless in regards to a lot of things. Eric would constantly leave expensive cameras and equipment on buses and it would be a case of "Oops!"

I don't watch their videos anymore tbh but just following here I am too, they seem weirdly careless in so many aspects

They're also leaving Clementine unattended in random campsites while they traipse around Baja in Ruby, with only a flimsy lock protecting everything they own in the world. I really hope they don't come back to their campsite to find everything gone.

I have wondered about that too. It’s not like Ruby is Fort Knox either.
I keep expecting them to have a video where someone hot wired Clementine and find it trashed and anything of value stripped. I hope it never happens, but in Mexico . . . Let alone a few other sketch places they have stayed.
