They are building a house. Good for them if/when they pull it off. I am not sure what I think of it as content down the line. EA was more a Rick Steves channel than This Old House. Just not sure.
It can differ not just from state to state but from county to county what the regulations. I do think that whatever they do at the very least will have to pass inspection. Permits, they probably do need them, but if the area is rural enough a lot of times that is not an issue as much. I am not sure what Texas’s tax laws are now, but once they are done improving the land they could be subject to property tax audit.
Wonder when they are getting back into working on their Texas property. That tiny house isn’t going to build itself, and that is just the first project.
Eric should not be galavanting around in public when he, by his own admission, has strong respiratory illness symptoms and is only able to function if he takes copious amounts of cold medicine. They love San Diego so much they wanted to share his sickness with as many San Diegans as possible!

Glad they were able to squeeze in some travel and sights during the Oppo phone ad. My god, I get it. It’s money, but felt way forced and took away from the actual travel.

After the rather blah Faroe Islands trip and seemingly putting off owing back to the Texas homestead they have been pretty vanilla lately. I get the idea lately is they have Texas hanging over their heads, and kind of want to travel but also find it a pain. Seems every travel channel hits this point. Eric needs a haircut.
He's also looking grayer and thinner. The stress might be getting to him now.
Eric is starting to look rough. My wife thinks his hair does not help, but his eyes look sunken in as well.
