Val is OKW Lovers husband. Why I know that I have no idea except Everytime he posts he always talks about John and Kevin and if Val is attending.
So how is Pete in so much debt if he gets 60 bleeping thousand dollars a month from this website that’s insane!
Just trying to figure out how Val fits into the picture, Moderator/TA/Frequent Poster on the boards?

OKW Lover is one of the original sycophants on the board that worship everything John and Kevin and go on countless Dis and ABD trips with them. He (and his wife Val) have been mentioned in the podcast by Kevin multiple times. They are retired and live near Disney. He likes to give advice on the boards to anyone that will listen on any possible topic.
Jeff (OKW Lover) and his wife Val Alves (sp?) are retired and live in FL. They often go on trips with John, Kevin and Webmaster Kathy (not Werling). At least, that's my understanding, from what I heard and what I've read here and on the other board. Kevin name dropped them CONSTANTLY when he was on the podcast, so they must have booked a lot of ABD trips, cruises, and/or contribute a lot of DVC points for the 3 bedroom grand villa when they all go to Aulani together.

Ha! Posting at the same time. Of course Jeff was the one who started the thread about the next podcast cruise. It was obvious that he was basically taking a poll for J&K, like he was Mr Big. Sycophant is right! Other than the owners, employees and agents, they probably have the most to lose if the companies fold.

This probably isn't what you are referring to, but that refinance, or equity loan (I can't remember which one it is) mentioned was over $200,000. He had some good income coming in plus that cash, that is a lot of $$$ to blow through. Although the DVC contracts, house renovation, trips, clothes, and jewelry probably account for most of it.
Was he a gambler, too? I imagine with his addictive personality, a casino was definitely not the place he needed to be near. <--Not meant to be a dig.
With all that debt on the house, doesn't seem like there is much equity there.
Leaving us in suspense tonight. Okay who are the good puzzle solvers on here???

I’ll take a guess to the next layer… he was quitclaimed so Pete is not on the mortgage. Also, Walter can sell his half without a Pete and vice versa.

I believe, and it would make more sense, if that was $60K/month was before paying employees and expenses such as:
- The average techie will make around $5-6k/month (adjusted for Florida). There were at least 2.
- A staff of creators, no clue what they make, but guesstimate would be closer to $2-3K/month.
- Add in benefits (if offered)
- Add in travel.
- Add in passes.
- Add in tech equipment and services.
- Add in rent on the studio... back to Pete of course, we know he wasn't offering it for free.

The podcast gang is paid through DUT though right? But the DIS would be who pays Corey and Will (if will still works for them?! Idk)
