Just a thought if IJ and Dereck were such stand outs in the plague ridden granny farms arena wouldn’t that have been called out for their examplary work with the elderly while running a incredibly successful enterprise? I am positive that not all homes for the elderly in the UK can be summarily called plague ridden granny farms. Seems a bit unfair to all the hard working nursing staff everywhere. Of course there will be the occasional scandal, like everywhere in the areas of care for vulnerable people. Duly pounced upon by the yellow press.

I so agree. There are a lot of people who would like to take Tattle down and Lalalanders are but a piss in an ocean. But it doesn't matter, idiots can protest but freedom of expression keeps the site going.

Its never too late to file a complaint with the French animal welfare authorities -- no protection for chickens or peacocks against pine martens -- whose presence, along with foxes, PJ's wildlife cam corroborates. Peacocks should arguably have marten proof (roofs, can squeeze thru 45mm apertures, kill for fun not food) winter shelter, which they do not now have. Sith nested close to the habitat of the martens without a single ounce of protection, and may have lost some eggs to predators. She could easily have been protected with a roof and electric fencing, and should have been.
Allowing Thor to fertilize his daughter Jillian's eggs is another cruelty to animals.
Jarvis now has the unmitigated gall to inveigh against the murder by martens in the videos -- to Petherick in the potager re the chickens, and more recently to PJ in re Sith's nest -- without lifting a finger to protect the beings under her care.

You should get a Great Pyrenees dog!! It is a French breed, and it will hang out with your sheep and chickens all day. Not high maintenance and will protect them from predators. It’s not a breed you have to worry about leaving for periods because its main focus is the livestock.

The dog would not have to be a "Stephanie" dog, he could just be a "Chateau" dog. There is always someone there from what I have seen and if he were a smart dog, after time he could learn to prepare his own meals and let himself in and out. Done!

These fans are completely nuts. My son has a Great Pyrenees, they are MASSIVE, the size of a small pony. Gentle dogs, but still, hardly low maintenance . They let you know when they're hungry as they need a lot of food.They need exercise, they need grooming. They will follow you everywhere. SJ would get fed up very quickly and BJJ would probably treat it like a giant soft toy and leave it for someone else to look after.

It forms fine particles which are shed in the air and are a lung irritant which triggers asthma in susceptible people. Dogs don't clean themselves so no problem. I don't think she likes dogs.

I don’t give Stephanie a pass for having allergies-having allergies doesn’t mean you can neglect/abuse the animals on your property for which you agreed to responsible for during their life (Ruby, sheep, peacock, chickens, roosters) (also includes Diesel who lives on her property)—allergies to animals can be caused by many things, including their saliva, but also their dead skin that flakes off, their urine, and even pollen and other allergens which become attached to their paws or fur/hair-but most of the time these allergies can be managed with good health for the pets, good hygiene in the home, and medications for the human-I know this because I do all of this every day

I‘ll give you Selmar does not appear to be the kind who would physically abuse his dog, however he doesn’t seem all that attentive to Diesel either-dogs need regular bathing and medical checks-if Diesel has a touch of arthritis he might benefit form some medical intervention-maybe then he would interact with Philip…or maybe not as was said earlier Diesel has a good sense of who is a good human and who is not a good human

You can also show your appreciation for the channel and you anticipation for the video with an early thumb up, but an early and intentional thumb down is a different thing altogether. Perhaps there could be a new phrase for that - Thumbs down shaming!!! With all the love and support the Chateau receives I doubt Stephanie is upset over a few thumbs down so I guess I just dont understand why people get so twisted over this. Anyway, as I have said, we shall have to agree to disagree on this...however its a good thing that we and so many others enjoy the channel.

Regarding the comments about the likes and dislikes (thumb up/ down) everyone watching has different interests. If someone gives a thumbs down then maybe the vlog contents aren’t of interest to them. Why say that the person is a troll? . It’s just positive and negative feedback. I think sometimes little things are built up and blown out of proportion and a little bit of perspective is needed.

You missed the point. Of course people are entitled to dislike. The comments were about early dislikes, given even hours before the video premiered. And no, giving an early like is not the same thing : it is showing support to the channel and anticipation for the video. An early and intentional dislike on the other hand, is just nasty.

(Just putting another perspective out there, I don’t know the full storey or what has been said or seen (so I’m not having a go) , but I think if someone doesn’t like a video then there is no harm in clicking thumbs down (however I would watch it first , but that’s me, we are all different) At the end of the day does it really matter, it’s a poll isn’t it?

It was so cool to meet you all this weekend! I couldn't believe how many of you showed up and I didn't exspect all the lurkers to come, too! We were definitely more than 15, but I stopped counting when Mojo arrived... How come we never thought of her really being Dame Judy Dench? What an honor! Real royalty at my place! Steph would be so jealous.
Thanks for bringing all the flowers and thanks for taking them all with you again since I don't have such a huge compost.
The food was delicious, too, especially the Timtams and cheese! So sorry that I forgot to buy alcohol but this is not Lalande! At least we had some Guinness when Brenda Gibbons came and tried to crash the party. Mojo, you really should not give hitchhikers a ride!
But all was forgiven when my favourite guest Heathcliff arrived. You really look great in your surfing suit, but I must admit I was a bit mad that you brought your wife, too. It's true, she is hot but you never said, that she is a mix of Dana and Steph! At least you invited us all to your cabin in the Caribbean.
And finally, when we all thought it could not get any better Clara made a special appearance. Since you all signed the confidentiality agreement I can't disguise on tattle who she is, sorry! But I did wonder why she talked so long with Brenda?
