I laughed out loud when SJ said “this is the most Dutch thing I’ve done” while on the tandem. Really?
I have to admit..grown up with horses, cows, bulls dogs, cats , etc...and chickens...i am never afraid of a bull, ...but everything with two paws and wings give me the creeps...i never picked up a chicken , not even a dove...when i was a toddler, a huge raven once landed on my shoulder...it made me so terrified i am still not fond of birds or chickens.."I've never held a chicken before."
Maybe his interests will move beyond squirrels & hedgehogs. View attachment 637615
It would be easier to come up with a list of what he can do, which is nothing ...Lets come up with ten more things that Phyllis cannot do
Would explain your dislike of SJ and IJ, who looks like a distraught hen ...it made me so terrified i am still not fond of birds or chickens..
I beg to differ. Whilst she cannot chalk those expenses up to non-profit, she will be able to write off those expenses to the bed and breakfast and Youtube - anything she buys to feature in an episode or anywhere she goes is tax deductible. If she makes a loss, it is carried forward. A good accountant will be able to write off most, if not all of it. The car insurance and gas will only not be tax deductible if the purpose of the journey is not for the YouTube channel, or the B&B - and when is that the case? Her multiple income streams are a blessing. There is no way the YouTube income can cover the boudoir prezzies and all of the food and booze bills and car insurance and gas and tolls and on and on. It costs a lot just to run a chateau into the ground never mind ‘restore’ it. None of that can be run through the non-profit, well legally.
Think she's trying to copy her hysterical mistress or maybe trying to channel her. What's going on? ... Another inner goddess seminar?
She's got a dog ... FillEp Dog ...I loved seeing the follies at Ten Berghe. Maybe because there was no snorting and SJ was not manic.
Did anybody else hear her say: "It wouldn't be fair [To have a dog], I travel a lot. Anybody can feed chicken and sheep"
Geez SJ, while I do commend you for at least knowing you wouldn't be great with a dog, even chicken, peafowl, sheep and Ruby needs looking after, not just feeding...
what if the YouTube channel is considered marketing? wonder if they have their own marketing firm set-up? production company? catering company? types of sub companies goes on forever…I believe she has already said that the garden work i.e. Dan and what's her face (sorry) are paid from the Patreon dough and that seems fine legally.
Nutty I'm not sure. The B&B is going to pay for her from now on but she probably only works part time. I mean, I would guess that she volunteers 25 hours per week to pay for her full board and then gets paid for the rest which is 10 hours per week. (Standard work week in France is 35h/wk though in reality average is over 40h/wk). Shitelaine should be able to afford that from her YouTube income till the B&B income kicks in.
Same for Snorty, mostly volunteer, few hours paid "work" and he must get paid from the YouTube production company.
And weren't the running costs something over 3000 euros per month? And she's responsible for only half of that. Not sure what expenses (electricity?) she can charge through the association. Some of the food costs are business expenses to her B&B. And basically everything she does in the videos can be tax deductable for her video production business.
Of course, who knows what the reality is but this is what I would deduct from her vague mumblings about how things are run and what would make some sense.
I understand your point of view but see things very differently. If I had the talent and skills to YouTube and from that, was able to set up a Patreon account where, in return for an exclusive weekly video and a few postcards, I could earn, tax free and legitimately, well in excess of half a million dollars a year, that would please me very much indeed. I would enjoy every minute and every penny and I would not feel guilty. And if you feel sorry for her, I think it is wasted. If it all ended tomorrow (and it has lots of steam left) she would be very much quids in. There are millions of rich people making a living out of people trafficking, drug trafficking, child exploitation, prostitution, fraud, theft, porn. They live in beautiful houses, eat in the best restaurants, stay in the best hotels, have the most expensive jewellery and drive the best cars, and see a great deal of the world. I despise and grudge those people their wealth, but not Stephanie. But don't take any notice of me - I am full of contradiction - I hate the fact MP earns his living through Patreon, and the other hangers on at that chateau. I hate Phil and Angelina so we all have our blind spots.I feel very sorry for her - I wouldn't like to be in that situation.
I can tell you some shockers in my country too..... its all over the world I feel. Many people dump their elderly in them and hardly visit , if at all. This is who IJ and Dereck sold Cransford Hall to:
“Cransford Hall, a mock Georgian Mansion set in 17 acres near Saxmundham, Suffolk, has an impressive oak-panelled entrance hall. But appearances can be deceptive.Last October inspectors found poorly trained staff, dirty commodes, and rooms smelling of urine. Residents were washed, dressed and taken to breakfast from 5.45am. Men were shaved in a production-line fashion using just one razor. The proprietors, Kalchand and Nandai Kowlessur, live in the stockbroker belt of Epsom, Surrey. They face losing their registration but are disputing the inspectors' findings.”I’m sure it didn’t become a hell hole over night. And this would explain why SJ was shipped away all of the time and why she demands attention but god only knows why she is so over-sexualized. Looks like cleaning has never been a Jarvis priority either.
If I was one of Percy's children I would be watching her and the daughter like a Hawk !!!Omg this is awfull...we dont have this type of care in The Netherlands..Nursinghomes are part of the Healtcaresystem, not private..we have pivate ones, but those are the very expensive ones..and they give for sure good care..and they all have regular check ups from the government...We all want to live to an old age...but when we actually are old and vunerable... i think its a hell...wherever you live..
Omg ..... what creature out of space has landed there....
Thank you for your search!!! So that post was quickly deleted...makes me think there was a lot to hide back then...If that old cow run an nursinghome....omg those poor people...now at her own old age she gives me the creeps let alone when she was younger....for sure its not a very caring and loving woman..poor Percy...he just married a good acting golddigger...i hope his children keep an eye on things...
Isn't there a Clara story about how her friends left their beloved dog in her charge and she in turn left Lalande with the dog alone in it for days?I loved seeing the follies at Ten Berghe. Maybe because there was no snorting and SJ was not manic.

I thought she said she was allergic to dogs and cats? That's why you never see her pet Diesel or Ruby. We know Sir Snotsalot is allergic to everything (especially hard work)!I loved seeing the follies at Ten Berghe. Maybe because there was no snorting and SJ was not manic.

There are some great pix of the interior at Sailhant -- a fortified farm in a slightly grander setting than Lalande -- as recently renovated by the preservation architect who now owns it. The latest style furniture he's got is Louis XIII (aside from modern hand-carved neo-Gothic), which is very different from Louis Farouk. He's worked hard to get local Auvergne antiques, including 19th c bath fixtures (dazzling copper tub etc) and medieval chapel adornments. The Chateau du Sailhant is nearly 1000 years old and at several points during its long life, the first floor rooms were used for grain storage. The owner/architect went through some changes, as they all do, around the idea of restoring to 13th century style, or leaving the 19th century farm store remodelling of the first floor, with servants' dining room, estate office, no grand entry or salle. It's pretty dark in there and you can imagine very much the scene you describe. I don't know if it's any less grey and rainy in the Auvergne than it is in the winter in Paris, but I can practically smell the wet dog and the smoke as we speak. Lots of what look like just painted walls, as you describe. I think you have described what Lalande must have been.
I wonder, if when Phyllis and SJ are in bed together at night, the mice hear him say,
"Ooh, I've never done THAT before!"
I mean, gosh, he's never held a chicken, never rowed a boat, never cooked.....I bet he can't swim.
He never rode a tandem bike. The list can go on forever.
Lets come up with ten more things that Phyllis cannot do
And he needs to quit wearing leotards
I must watch that... Rosamund Pike is an outstanding actess, she hit the ball out of the park in "Gone Girl".A bit dark but the movie "I care a lot" comes to mind.
Plot:
Marla Grayson is a Massachusetts con artist who makes a living by convincing the legal system to grant her guardianship over elders she pretends cannot take care of themselves. She places them in an assisted living facility, where they are sedated and lose contact with the outside world. She then sells off their homes and assets, pocketing the proceeds.
