I think we will see a lot more of Cat (in the soap that the Chateau Diaries indeed is) as she now has a bona fide real job as a manager of a virual choir. That job is something she can do from Lalande, or from anywhere. And she seems to enjoy Lalande greatly, so I would guess she is staying on for a while. Good for Stephanie to have someone to share British humour with. Not to be awful to the rest of the worldbut we are in a different league. Just like the French are when it comes to food. Dan is quite funny, Nic we don't get to see much of. Strangely I have not missed the Scot and his humour... I wonder why? He needs to come back! The tartan presents have dried up, he is all forgotten about, these super fans need a reminder so they purchase enough tartan tat in time for Christmas! Peacocks, Tea, Aprons, Tartan, Chocolate, BRING IT ON, their postman must hate them.

agree with everything, just one think came to my mind, if I will look at it from business perspective and if my goal is to sell it for profit, I might want to "stage" few most important rooms to give a glance of how it might look like for a future investor and basically sell him this bohemian dream with crumbling tower becuase he will be blinded by too many ornaments in the grand salon


today I am so sleep-deprived after tattle marathon that have so many wicked ideas which I need to share,
again as I was reading some of you already pointed the same thing as I was thinking but I am thinking now even further and have a theory:

marie is paying rent for her room (and possibly food is her own since she cannot eat much anyway) but the studio might be "paid" in exchange for her cooking. Now, when she realized, that she made a bad deal, she is like, "if you want me to cook for your lazy ass, earn you money by showing my work and my skills as a protagonist on your reality show without proper pay, freez out in the cold stable, not having the time to do my vlog (the only thing why I agreed to endure all this), than at least make an efing space on the table!"

I hate to say it, but that flower studio is a joke. If Marie is cooking for everyone, then she should be on the payroll. She seems to be passive aggressive. Like when the camera is on her, she's all sweet, but when it's not she's sulking.

peterpans have an ability to suck you in their imaginary world and keep convincing you that you have a magical floristry studio with lovely playful pigeons to pay for, when in fact you are freezing in stables trying to avoid being pooed on

Actually as a florist you are used to work in cold because the flowers are often kept in walking fridges. I don't believe she pays her actual money as rent, but the cooking is part of the deal.

Loved the vlog this evening. The Thanksgiving table was a bit weird out in the stable, but what the hell. Why not?
The gammon looked lush, the wee flowers were lovely, the atmosphere was good. Nice to hear a shoutout to the patrons for the chapel windows.
Nati and Selmar's little tributes were moving, in particular what Selmar said.

Loving the new name suggestions for the new thread.

Missing @Calvignac and @soll and their wisdom and contributions. There has definitely been a shift in the matrix over the last 48hrs. We seem to have gone from general banter and comments about the channel and the vlogs to some quite personal comments.

Sadly I agree with this. The interesting thing about these threads is hearing the different opinions. We can't all agree, and shouldn't, that would be boring, but we should agree to disagree. With respect. No need for personal attacks at all. For example I find Philip simpering and annoying. Others like him. All good.

Didn't notice, what makes you say that? As far as I can see Selmar is normally fairly quiet, until he's had a few drinks at least, maybe it's just his manner? Putting up with the filming of the cadeaux is taking a toll on all of them I think, but otherwise he seems pretty chill?
