Related, I have a pot of beans on the stove that just. won't. cook. Did I soak them overnight? Absolutely. No salt has been involved in the cooking process yet. Frustrated beyond belief. And I have a headache. Bah.

The Imperial Hotel has the obligatory royal connection for the grifting little orphan princess.

Are pets allowed at Hotel Imperial, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Vienna?

Yes, pets are welcome. There's a charge of EUR 50 per accommodation, per stay. Service animals are exempt from fees. Food and water bowls are available.
Oh, oh, oh. Despicable fanny's magic number... 50

Over the last couple of days I have commented on Escape to Rural France. I have stayed super polite as I didn't want to get banned or create conflict. However, it is evident that some people see only what they want to see.

I am in awe of your work ethic Dan having achieved so much in a relatively short period of time, and essentially almost alone. If you can do this, why are there always delays at Chateau Diaries and nothing ever seems to get done?

Big difference between an occupied building and a ruin, in a number of respects.

@LaReynedEpee I agree. There is a big difference between a ruin and an occupied building. Stephanie has been giving assurances for years and next to nix has been achieved. Last year she said the chateau was falling down yet she focuses on fripparies and holidays. Dan on the other hand powers on, more often than not by himself with few days off. It feels he will have completed Chateau de Chaumont well before Stephanie can even get her endless surveys completed.

You're comparing apples with oranges, yes both fruit, but different things.

@JPRobinso I am happy to agree to disagree. Stephanie has had well over $1m in patreon money and her cousin permanently employed to renovate at her chateau, and yet progress at LL is at a snail's pace. Dan has even had a dig at Stephanie and Philip on camera about their 'renovations' or lack there of. Dan on the other hand has been focused, careful with his expenditure and motivated.

You angel! Thank you! ❤

I have a question for Euro tattlers... isn't everything in Europe a stone throw away? (At least compared to the vastness of nothing in North America)... How can Tan live her life in France, one country away from Austria and wanting to go there "all her life"? it's not she has been lacking in the budget department!

I have to say, I own a couple of fur pieces.. a hat and a long coat, but I have inherited them from my Grandma and she bought them in - I think- 1940s or 50s. Those animals are long dead and by owning antique fur, I am not hurting anyone. But I do have to say, I barley ever wear them. It just feels wrong in this time and day.

And finally, I must make a confession... I think there's a chance I would like to have PhiPhi as my personal shopping assistance. The twank does provide a good service and feedback whilst shopping. 😅
Please don't banish me from tattle.. I promise I will say something mean about him in my next post. 😂😂
the thing is that even if it so close we are just not used to traveling like Americans, maybe these days more so, but 4l / 1galon of petrol costs like 1 liter here, some people never left they village/city or didnt even go to their capital, maybe during school visit only

also roads/higways were build in last years (tose connecting countries not just cities) as it was uber expensive and you would be surpsised there is a lot of politics behind not having cetrain connections (even train ones - great example is Luxmebourg/Brussel connection, they do not want to do it bc there would be lost income etc)

Thinking about the night train sent me off on the internet yesterday. We've deceided that we want to do it as some point. We can get the train from La Roche sur Yon to Paris then onto Vienna. A cabin to ourselves with ensuite, it would be a lovely little mini break and cheaper than driving with the train ride all being part of it.

Just seen your bit on Nightjet @HalcyonOrganic , are they that bad ?
Check this out. I’ve seen varying reviews from outstanding to horrible. The night train is part of a trip I’m planning myself.

November Grifting for Stars, December in London, January in Vienna (and London), February in Venice, March in South Africa - it's a tough life!

Hey Fanny, you lazy, grifting, heartless, selfish, hoarding, soulless cow, when you're in South Africa this winter pestering Percy will you be holding a one year memorial on behalf Mmakhotso Moloi and helping her family financially?

i prefer train when i go to austria or germany. trains are usualy very on time. usualy. except when i was in vienna on december. but that train came from prague and it was only 30 minust or so late and the weather was bad.
I enjoy train travel . . . for the every day and long trips.

For a number of years, every Friday after work I would catch an express to Castlemaine. I'd have my coffee and a snack, maybe read or mark schoolwork, look at the scenery. It was very relaxing and provided a great disconnect at the end of the working week.

I also did the reverse commute for a year each Monday. That was not so pleasant. Up at five for the 6.08. I wouldn't sleep well because I was anxious about sleeping in. Absolutely frigid in Winter. People were were pretty polite getting on the train but it was a bun fight for seats. If you didn't get a seat, people either stood all the way to Melbourne, sat on the floor or in the luggage rack. I worked out exactly where I had to stand on the platform so I could be either first or one of the first into the carriage. Despite this many country people travel into Melbourne daily. I'd be back in Melbourne just after seven, then there was the trip from Melbourne to Camberwell which is where I worked. Swapping lines and that journey took an hour, the same amount of time it took to come down from Castlemaine.

Gee, these people in Europe don't know what hardship is do they? Come to Australia and fly Jetstar/Qantas and see how you go. I can't remember one Jetstar flight for me that hasn't been delayed or cancelled. The latest is to Bali- I have lost a whole day and somehow, I will have to get a taxi to Sanur at 1.30am and find my accommodation because the Villa I am staying at doesn't do transport after 7pm!
30 minutes late is a walk in the park here.
The train travel would have been so beautiful, especially for the aunt.
That reminds me of a red eye flight back from Perth.
Due to a problem with radar we finally departed at 2am.
I couldn't believe it. The flight attendants brought out a meal.
A stinky macaroni thing that ponged up the cabin.

When uncle Stephen tried on the jackets I was waiting for someone to pass him a guitar so he could do a few verses of Edelweiss like the Captain in The Sound of Music.

I wonder if the brooch wearing Gay Twank and Uncle Stevie went out one evening to the nearby Kaiserbründl for kabobs? It has 2 saunas, a cruising steam bath, playroom, cabins with non-stop porn playing on TVs and a glorious relaxation area. In addition, there are slings, f*ck benches, a darkroom and a prison with cages and glory-holes. Sounds like their kind of place!

Today's Patreon video:

- The ever so poor grifter announces her "winter of culture";
- We're told the destitute grifter is going to watch Puccini at the Opera - where Sissi went too (ofcourse);
- They visit the imperial treasury (https://www.kaiserliche-schatzkammer.at/en/);
- The grifter's uncle buys some clothes;
- The poor things have a lunch in their hotel room, which according to the uncle is reminiscent of the Henley Regatta (seriously dude??).

Riveting stuff, as per ushe.

It is kind of a common sense to say everything is close in Europe but it is not really… the entire thing is quite large. I have travelled a lot around Europe, by car, boat, train and plane but I have not been to every place I dreamed going in Europe. I myself have never been to Vienna for example and I always wanted to. The same way I have never been to Venice. Excessive tourism is to blame as I avoided those crowded cities like the plague and, in the end, we always visited the same countries and towns. I have been around a lot but I was not able to go everywhere I want. Not even in Norway, there are still places here I would like to see.

I have been to Czech Republic twice and I always expected to be able to take the train to Vienna from Prague (influence of the movie Before Sunrise) but in the end it never happened. If one has a life and travel only in the 30 days of our vacation time, it is impossible to see everything in one life time… Europe is full of fantastic places.

About your inherited furs, well, if I were you I wouldn’t wear them, even if the animal is already dead, it was produced through heavy animal abuse and activists everywhere are not making things easy for those who wear vintage fur items. People will think that you bought the furs and that you are insensitive to their cause.

About DelPHIne the douche, I will be expecting you to come up with something really mean about him.
