It took me so long to rid my house of all of the bad 90’s wallpaper that I swore I would never wallpaper anything. I’m starting to actually debate wallpapering my formal living room. There are some beautiful papers out there now. I don’t think I’d be able to do it myself, though!

Wow Fanny really has no genuine emotion the absolute tastelessness of titling her grab fashion show so soon after MM is really so insensitive.


I also for the first time took a look at Stephanie Jarvis instagram pre Chateau Diaries and it shows she mostly travelled:Istanbul, Portugal, South Africa, Zanzibar, America and lived in London a lot. The other tell is a post with her in a yellow coat and Gerry in a yellow jumper where she refers to him as "my brother". She also shops a lot for designer clothes bed heads mirrors etc. What is also abundantly clear is she lived to party and did indeed party a lot. Christmas didn't used to be a wholesome affair it was a 10 day bender with every night themed and none of the older generation in sight. What is also clear is she was close with Ruthie what happened there? Only one post of Ollie and lots of posing preening and inappropriate clothing. She was a real poser and loved herself loads so not much has changed apart from the party crowd has moved on. I suggest Tattlers take a quick skim through

What does SJ's channel stand for? *crickets*
It's not about renovations, it's not about gardens, it's not about sewing, it's not about event management.

It's SJ running arround, showing off other people's work. When there is a party, someone prepares food, Snorts table and SJ herself. There is nothing shown which would draw the viewers back in. There needs to be story line instead of dreamy "one days".

She mentioned surveys for grand salon were ordered a couple of months ago, but she never mentions it again.

Survey ordered -> received -> source contractors -> building work starts -> explain in each video a baby step -> work done - next.

SJ way:
Talk about a problem -> cry about it in front of a fire -> talk about it some more -> invite people for survey --> talk about the problem -> order a survey -> never mention it again.

Sulphites in wine affect me in the same way and that's why I rarely drink.

I am in mid bathroom decoration and just wallpapered one wall away from the bath and shower but it is a waterproof bathroom wallpaper …., shows my love of birds…, please be kind and no negative comments I understand it’s not for everyone !

SJ looks so completely out of place in the countryside. The lovely green and blue background of the bluebell woods is then hidden by a bright gaudy dress on an over made-up, bleached and gaudy blonde Barbie doll. Don't get me wrong, I love colour and I sometimes wear make-up but I would not dress like that to go for a walk in the woods and she certainly clashes with the natural surroundings. Everything about her is too loud: her voice; her shrieking laughter; her clothes, and her face. Her professed love of nature, animals, and the countryside is completely fake. They just provide a bit of content for the vlogs. Actually, it's not just those subjects, it's also art, books, and people, she doesn't really have any deep interest in, or love for anything at all, other than Stephanie Jarvis who is the real love of her life. The sad gift givers, who have nothing better to do with their time and money, just need to keep sending her dresses and large mirrors so she can waft around as if in a sanctuary, admiring and worshipping herself. If she ever gets the chapel done, she could re-dedicate it as a shrine for worshipping Saint Stephanie, such a great benefactor who helped so many at the start of their careers!

I have a bright yellow Puffer jacket that I wear outdoors religiously throughout the hunting season whether I'm on my own land or walking in the surrounding countryside. It's a tad mingy but the hunters are so gung-ho that I want to make sure I don't blend with the countryside. I'm also generally in whellies or appropriate boots and jeans. Not a fecking 1950's cocktail dress!

@NotAChatelaine Stephanie is useless at putting together a room. She has zero understanding of proportions, zero feel for how different elements in a room should meld together, zero grasp of how colours work, zero grasp of balance, zero feel for dressing a room and placing furniture, pictures, wall lights/sconces and mirrors (don’t get started on trumeaux or straightforward over mantle mirrors). Chuck everything at a room, with no though of cohesion. Essentially, she has no taste and absolutely no design sense. The whole house is a grostesque cartoon. Hogarth at Disneyland.

Yer yer yer cheeky. I’ll have you know she is a Christie’s tastemaker no less. Admired and revered by all who are colourblind and also have unfortunately lost any sense of taste they were born with.

The Christie’s debacle was priceless. Not in a good way. It, was, if nothing else, a master class in ineptitude, incompetence and ignorance. SJ hadn’t the faintest idea how stage a vignette - creating the illusion of seeing a snapshot of a part room. She and the prancing twerp were completely out of their depth. It was hilarious and cringeworthy in equal measure, seeing those two floundering. It was bewildering how she got the gig - lots of tattle speculation and whispers that in some way she paid her way in. Comedy gold or a really bad, third rate horror film. Take your pick!

The best put together of the four vignettes (which is not saying a lot) was the one done after SJ and her wingman fled left NY (Versailles beckoned). They might not have run out of time if she’d spent less time faffing around in her floaty negligée. Imagine bagging this one off opportunity and managing your time so badly, and not taking it seriously enough, that you scuttle away before completing what you’d undertaken.

Some idiot viewers, of course, thought what SJ did achieve was a triumph, gushing about her “talent”. More fool them. And more fool the Christie’s specialist -the silver woman, whose name I forget - and her sidekick for overdosing on Stephanie’s superficial charms which masked total unsuitability for the task.

No, I stopped drinking all together. I couldn't be bothered anymore. Pre gluten I never had a problem with wine. And if I choose to break my gluten diet (and meet the horrible aftermath) it will be for pie/cake . I do it once a year, and pre arrange my work schedule accordingly
