Yes Definitely “trouble at mill tonight”. Everybody busy doing things except for PhiPhi who was nowhere in sight all day. Speaking of diapers, I'm reminded of another yucky roommate story.
In the early 2000s I rented a room from some creepy guy. He always wore leisure pants that were poofy around the waist and tight at the legs - like Shakespeare - and made a swooshing sound when he walked. One day his bedroom door was ajar and I spied boxes of adult diapers so I thought maybe he's got a condition. FFWD a few months and he's got a kid (19 or so) visiting from out of town. I come out of my room one day to find the kid wearing diapers and vacuuming the hallway. The handful of other times I saw the kid he was wearing diapers and sitting at my landlord's feet. While the kid was visiting, I also spied a large dog crate in my landlord's room - he had no dog.

Made it through Thanksgiving once again! Burnt the first batch of roasted brussels sprouts, discovered the cream cheese was made from cashews - odd texture and color, drank plenty of good wine, woke up fearing the kitchen might still be a mess but was pleasantly surprised to find it all nice and tidy. I guess the cleaning elves must have visited while I was passed out. Off topic, but this photo came through my IG feed today. I think it's stunning! Oh yeah, one more thing, Tess's boobs. Is there a shelf under them? Or are they filled with helium?

Well, I guess Marie Wiik hasn't had time to update her YouTube properly as she's been busy. She's back in Norway, which I am highly in favor of (not that she asked me - LOL!). She informs her Instagram followers that she has taken an extra job at a florist and shows us a reet she made (I know, it's "wreath".....just pronouncing it as she does for old times' sake!). Funny, I don't consider Patreon a primary or non-extra job, but what do I know? Is she working elsewhere and I missed it?

FRK is an enigma. Why, just at this very time last year, she was living off the generosity of Nikki in Haworth, in her own little shop (which I suspect Jill was renting to her for practically nothing), making her "wreats" for the locals... SMH, this girl is a lost cause! FRK produces very little content, never explains her actions, burns those who have tried to help her out, but wants the world to adore her and fund her lifestyle while she does f*ck all.

Billy has done a Q&A and his first question is slap bang aimed at Stephanie Jarvis. He has a budget for each room or area and if he started too many projects at once it would just run away and he would have no control…..as you were .. I will continue watching. Just had to get this on here.

Sad thing is that what Fanny started was achievable with a team of builders but she is keeping the money for other things and instead has Amaury who although skilled is doing all the jobs in the Chateau including now lighting fires, feeding animals and to top it all he is slower than molasses in January

So what happened to them being a so called couple? Have they uncoupled? Will Pavlina have to hop from one chateau to another just like Selmar and FRK? If I had one of those chateaux, I would get security cameras pronto so that I could be on the lookout for "refugees" coming from LaLande. Thanks @M&MsMom- I became jaded after she burned the entire lovely village of Haworth and Nicki, and stopped following her. It is sad because there were a few of us 15 who truly felt sorry for her, initially, as something truly was not right at the Shitoo of "Life, Laughter, and Love", and were her biggest cheerleaders to escape. She somehow landed herself in a community that supported her with good people. But she threw that all down the loo to "find herself". She's a grown woman who is still lost. There are people who have it much worse that make their own way in life- unfortunately, Marie expects people to give her a free ride while she "finds herself", while offering nothing in return.

Okay, the floor scrubbing happened before Thanksgiving. The sideboard was still in the Chinese restaurant, as was all the chairs. This video is probably from two weeks ago. She’s working and cleaning because she reads here and her competition is wiping the floor with her as far as work goes. The winter salon has a fireplace that probably draws now as it has been cleaned or modified. That is where they are going to be doing all of the entertaining during the holidays. That room, the entrance room, the Marquis thing, and the dining room. Maybe there are some other fireplaces they can use now, and that is why there are so many more fire extinguishers now. There will be fires going everywhere. I think all the room change ups are also due to where there will be heat. And what was all of that about Dan buying a fox taxidermy? For what? Why’s she peppering Dan into the conversation? Why’s Anne Marie moving furniture and not Phi Phi? Weird.

It was pretty 'meh' in my opinion.
Mo and Sadie were there as support.
They avoided personal questions coming in and kept everything very 'light'.

He has plans to extend his merchandise line with items like t towels and oven gloves.
I hope he learned from his wallpaper experience and licenses everything this time round.
Anyway, it was good to see him back more like the old Michael.

I echo @LittleMore Cottage that we all have to be our own advocates and get our loved ones to be advocates when we cannot speak. Gone are the days when Dr’s are treated like gods. One lesson I learned as a nurse is listen to your patient don’t discount what they have to say. Hard lessons. From my experience both male and female physicians are equally arrogant. Some of the worst ones are newly minted female Physicians. There are good ones though!
In my neck of the woods there have been two deaths in the emerge waiting room. Both waiting for a bed in emerge.Truly horrifying! Sadly this would never happen to someone with connections or people who scream for attention.

I think the Pethericks will not actively host a person in their unheated chateau. The family live in the manageable out buildings in the wintertime to defray the costs. And wisely, I might add.

we do the same...but we dont ship our staff off to another chateau... have to say ..we have payed staff..no volunteers...i always feel that somebody who works needs to be payed...only the sun goes up for free....

What a heart rending loss! Until one experiences losing their mom it’s hard to understand the depth of such grief. I’m thinking of and praying for you. It’s such a difficult transition. Try not to neglect yourself if at all possible. Rest when you need, laugh when the good memories surface and remember the love with as much joy as you can.

Why don't doctors listen to Women? Why don't they take us seriously?

The last week has been pure hell. It's been so bad I haven't even clocked into tattle.
I have a stomach ache to end all stomach aches. Severe pain. At the doctor's office twice, then finally, the emergency room, where I literally begged them to do something! The Emergency Doc reluctantly ordered a CT scan. It turns out there is a massive mass on my right ovary.
Surgery is on Friday.

I am hoping for the best but bracing for the worst.
Trying to placate the children and my elderly parents that things will be okay.

Bought myself a tablet so I can keep up with you bitches while laid up (I mean, you lovely people )

The same thing happened to me. Was fobbed off with “it’s will be your endometriosis or sarcoidosis” was passing out With pain. Nobody would listen. It was a junior doctor that ordered a scan. Turns out I had a massive cyst on ovary, my insides were all stuck together with endo, adhesions and scar tissue. I ended up having to have an emergency hysterectomy and bowel surgery. I’m so glad you’re getting treatment now and hope you heal well.
