All SJ would have to do is say they want to be married in the chapel, produce a few tears, act determined but disappointed to go to a plan B. The money would come pouring in.

I have been back reading the elusive Isabelle6541's posts. Someone mentioned that Isabelle was really curious to discover Clara's identity. Isabelle was more than just a little curious.
This post below doesn't really make any sense. If Isabelle started badgering SJ, she would be escorted off the premises. Well, perhaps she is in the pokey???

Given her contentious relationship with her mother and her lack of community integration I wonder if she doesn’t actually dislike France and it’s citizens?
So what was the food? You told us just last month that you went to a dinner party recently at LaLande (the one where SJ mentioned Philip and his drugs). Why would you go to that if you don’t eat the food there?
I’m sure I’ll get a lot of ridicule for this comment, but so far you haven’t really said anything that shows me you were at the Patreon days. Just giving us a rundown of the events of the day wouldn’t give you away as it would be the same for everyone there.

I'm still interested in whether or not Jarvis is required by law to have had an association meeting with these people with at minimum a vote on an annual report. I fantasized, apparently without a crumb of justification, that Isabelle and her group action would be demanding publically such a meeting and such a report.

Wonder if we’ll ever hear from Isabelle6541 again. Awkward if she does come back with intel but not very likely. She could always shift the blame to the others in her group claiming to be as disappointed as everyone else. Something just feels hinky. Actually, a few things feel hinky.
Don’t give up hope yet. She only needs a card or two to tumble to bring the house of cards crashing down. We have to exercise patience. Fanny will ultimately cause her own downfall thru her greediness and arrogance. Daily, Fanny reveals more info and actions that show who she is and what she is doing in her relentless grifting schemes.Sadly I am not holding my breath ....... I think thats it.
So Fanny gets away with it and the $$$ still rolls in.

There are so many cards that can tumble that can bring accountability to Stephanfraudie.
There are so many areas where the cards can tumble. She has allegedly screwed up in so many areas: buying patrons, buying YouTube subscriptions, buying views, deleting comments and creating fake accounts to spread her propaganda, screwed around with channel 4 DIY, screwed around with the charity donations from the gift grab, lied about gifts, spending, etc., stupidly on video has blown so much money on herself with shopping, traveling, etc. and documentation of her nonstop lies about the Dump, Dump funds, her YouTube channel, gift channel, charity donations, “restorations”, and screwed over and poorly treated so many contractors, employees, volunteers, fellow chateau owners, “friends” and family members. She has also maligned government officials in the lake debacle, getting permits and approvals, and has spoken poorly of the local government. Think of all the spurned wives and other females who have grudges with Fanny allegedly messing around with their husband/ partner.
And of course, the biggest screw up, allegedly misusing the non profit association to grab tax free funds which are clearly not spent properly on restoration work or Fanny would have no problems revealing where every bit of Patreon funding has been spent.
Fanny has knives potentially at her back from all of these people/entities that she has screwed over or cheated and may have to face accountability at some point. Think of the dozens of people who have the dirt on the little orphan princess that could cause her criminal or financial issues.
Fanny is trying to appear like a duck that looks like it is smoothly sailing across the former pond but the legs are frantically moving underneath the surface.
Frank den Os has written about the enchantment, as in the Perrault fairy tales, of the setting and the property. He attributes part of Jarvis' hypnosis of him and his partner as guardians of the place to the palpable magic of its setting. With the ancient lake reflecting the sky as its central jewel. He writes of it as being overwhelming, casting a spell as all the forests did in the French fairy tales. There's mist, flowers, critters, clear running water. It actually gives me physical pain to think how badly she has damaged that environment. As previously mentioned, I actually cried the day she found Nick the tree pruning the espaliered apple trees for the first time in 40 years.
Hello Spirit Of Place. I loved your opening line and commentary. Yes the “deadly funny”, or “can we do a postmortem on the investigative journalism that was going to come crashing down”. Exactly my point, and my faux chime in with a wholly made up scenario. There are times that I feel that we’re lead on, which is to your point as well. Zoom up. Zoom down. I’ve lost faith and feel baited and switched. I’ve studied the commentary, admire the twists and turns of the writing style - setting the table, yanking the cloth. To that point, and yours “to wind us up” - I think you nailed it right there. Meanwhile, I do love the commentary here, calling out the absurd. But it’s almost the dog chasing its tail. Round and round. There are times also that I feel the supposed inside intel plants might even be a marketing ploy, as any publicity is good publicity to keep Fanny in the public eye, no matter the venue - and Tattler is a venue. I think Tattler is filled with wit. Sharp comments. But let’s not be duped by the hype. I will eat my words, my hat, or go to LaLande and eat the entire collection of porcelain if wrong. . . . . .but going hook, line and sinker, I would say after multiple cliff hangers with no “there there” - no going there anymore. . . . .Curiouser & curiouser - can we do a post mortem on the investigative journalism that was going to come crashing down on the Patreon Days, led by Isabel 645 (or whatever). Clara was going to give some explosive news about Snorts & a showdown was guaranteed.

C'mon tattlers are too smart to buy all that - the event has fizzled out, the groupies are content & we are horrified at the level of hospitality offered in the light of all previous shenanigans where preps went on for days, costumes, drink, tables etc. The only 'news' is that Potty has taken control of the shoppe & turned it into an online concept store where it will die a death together with the unseen Table-setting Channel.

Ditto. I think I said I couldn't understand why it was a good idea to reveal plans on here & was told it was to be 'fair' to Fanny.
Which is why I was going down the rabbit hole to find out who this person might be...I will profusely apologise if some fantastic new intel with photos comes out..but as each day goes by I fear we may have been conned?

When I first came around, anti-Americanism was an hourly occurence here, based on -- well, based on hag laughter, the "British sense of humor" and the jingoist idea, expressed hourly, that the fans were so dumb they had to be American.
With the influx of colonial Tartlettes from all latitudes, that ancienne regime has been ousted.
The remnants have been expressing anti-American opinions since the Queen's death. In direct response, I have talked more and more forensically, about Charles, than in real life I actually give a tit about. (We have grown old together, he and I, a peculiarly comradely bond. But I think he's become a tit and neither of us started out that way. His epitaph, coined 30 years ago, by a sad and shrewd American black woman: Prince Charming turns out to be just another dog.)

Isabelle6541 was studious at teasing, chiming in. And just when we thought she was out and about in her camo, just when we’d fuss a little wishing her well - she’d jump in again. Nothing wrong in posting a picture, offering another tease WHILST SHE OR HE WAS THERE. But that didn’t happen. Travel has nothing to do with it, she could have zinged a snappy picture or two or way. It is wholly unlike her, as she was so game to tease - and I repeat, as many of us did - you have a team on the ground, going in - your mouth is shut, until after. But Isabelle6541 could not wait to roll it all out.
Clara on the other hand has a credible writing style, very good with words and leads - has a few tricks in her bag, and staunch comments. But there are times that I could play Clara as well, and store the pot. I know Clara is a folk hero here. And maybe that’s part of the game as well.

IMHO, you have deliberately misinterpreted Clara’s post. Clara said she didn’t “ touch much of the food served” not that she “doesn’t eat the food there.”
Clara provides information that she feels comfortable providing without revealing herself or putting herself in a precarious or uncomfortable position. By now, after Clara’s years on this forum, you can choose to believe her or not believe her. She is not obligated to give you a run down of the events to prove to your satisfaction she was in attendance.
Didn't she say November for the promised journalism exposé? That's another possible reason for radio silence -- the reporter has the group by the balls, embargoing scoops to Tattle prior to November publication. Reporters have their prerogatives -- 50 cents a trick mounts up. And Tattle is a low rent venue for exposing your valuable scoop. If any.

As usual lies, lies, lies. Her full cast was there on hand to help and support her, or rather to make up the numbers and make it look like it was a popular event. That event just doesn’t sit right with me. I’m suspicious and am starting to smell a rat. Is there another reason why her main players and family are really all there? Also why the chapel is off limits

Ed and Anna's chateau is 4 hours away. So it's 4 there and 4 back and let's be generous and (as it was obviously all arranged last minute) let's add an extra two hours for having a bit of a relax with lunch and coffee with Ed and Anna before loading the car with the boxes of wine - so 10 hours tops. Not 17 hours.
I think the chapel was deemed off limits because the vaulted ceiling is not brick or stonework as Fanny claims, but plasterwork and even a complete novice could spot that if they look close enough. So no entry allowed, so sorry. Fanny is going to claim various surveys and a drawing up of architectural plans required on the stone vaulting (which doesn't exist) and the reconfiguration of the central stone (which doesn't exist) and these surveys will naturally cost extra money she doesn't have. Dear oh dear! But with the ongoing loyal and generous patrons etc etc, it can be restored to it's former glory etc etc. Simple really. Same old, same old. She'll have figured out the current plaster vault will be more safe and secure if it's entirely replaced with the more solid sturdy brickwork, which will then be plastered over in order to retain the original look of the thing. The existing structure, as it is, could well be wooden with a plaster overlay. But the same principle applies... squeeze more Patron monkeys from the punters. Amaury could easily rig up scaffolding and repair it himelf, but no no no... experts must be called in, and experts cost. Cue Fanny's sad face. As I've said before, the building's current use as a chapel is a waste. She actually has no need of a chapel apart from it being a status symbol, but she does have a need for an extra pretty jewel box to hold parties in.
